Fuck customers: whenever I open, I have to wait out front for one of the managers to unlock the doors (and promptly lock them again once we're in because it takes a while to set up) and nothing is more disconcerting to me than customers who come early, shake the doors, peer inside, and start doing that antsy rage pacing before turning to me and interrogating me about hours. HENCE why I always wear a jacket over my uniform even in 90º weather. Why are they so aggressive and scary???? Any advice?

I was checking out an older woman and she had a lot of items, not like a huuuge amount but enough where the next person in line would have to wait a minute. On top of that she was going kinda slow since she was older. There was like 3 customers behind her and I was going to call backup but the man behind her kept being really fucking rude to both me and her for going slow, idc that he was rude to me but she was an old woman cut her some slack? So I waited until I finished with her to call backup

Anyways, they wanted free food so they complained, but our manager wouldn't give them any, so they left without tipping me :) Luckily their grandma ran back in and handed me $7 but still....... I am one of the hardest working people at our store, constantly busting my ass, and covering for others. I always work hard and do my best, but am forever being taken advantage of. I am the only one who will volunteer to come in early or stay late to cover for people, but I'm never rewarded, barely even garnering a "thank you" from management. I can't tell you how many doubles I've worked, and I get nothing in return. I don't mean to sound selfish, but a little gratitude would be nice.

I have a speech impediment and talking makes me self conscious. I wanted to ask a real quick question, but the only employees I could find were on break, so I gather up my courage to talk to them, say sorry to bother them and stuttered up a storm to ask if they had any free water anywhere. They gave me a death glare for like 30 seconds then pointed over to it without saying anything as if I was a bad child. I said thanks, got the water then went to go cry in the restroom ;^;

When I was 16 at my first job, I had a group of middle aged men and one 60-something come in. These grown ass men literally harassed me into saying that I found the 60yo attractive while I was trying to take their orders.
