“Now what’s happened here?”
The silver-haired man had shown up at quite an interesting time, it seemed. Not often did you see this much carnage with achildat the centre. An Arrancar, or a Shinigami, perhaps, but not a child. Really, the only times he’d seen so much carnage were in massive battles, with many combatants.
This seemed more like a massacare, and the only person in the area was the bloodstained child. Never worth underestimating someone in this situation, though - if she had caused it, then she was one scary kid. “Will I be your friend? I dunno~!”
His right hand remained inside his sleeves, adjusting his grip on Shinso, while the left waved around, before coming to rest near his head, a slender finger tapping his chin. People were always interesting to watch, and even more interesting to mess with; what would happen, then, if he were to stick around this child? With a wave of his arm, he leant down towards the child. “Is this how you play with yourfr~iends~?’Cause it sure seems like fun.” His grin would only widen as he spoke, his tone subtly mocking, as always.
“Why don’tcha tell me your name first, Miss?”
" Isn't it? You agree, don't you!? " An excited Lily would bound up closer towards the older, taller man, blue eyes widened with a childish glint, mouth opened in a big, wide smile as giggles escaped here and there in between her words. Bandersnatch stayed by her side, ready to take the man's life in less than even a mere second if his master so much as spoke an order. " But you know, they're boring, too! They're slow, and all they say when we speak to each other is 'please spare me!' or 'stop!', it's so boring, so lame.. y'know? "
In response, the youngest Baskerville stuck out her hand, face brightening considerably that they seemed so.. 'friendly'. " I'm Lily! And this is Bandersnatch! "
" And who are you, miste-r?! "
With no regard for personal space whatsoever, the child pressed both her hands on the man's knees -- he had leaned after all, so she could at least reach that much. Pushing herself up to meet him eye level, if her face wasn't covered in her victim's blood and all, it would be hard to think of her as anything more than a child. A child who loved to make friends, in fact.
Though normally, Lily wouldn't do this to her.. 'friends'. Though she wasn't aware of what she was doing, of course. Normally, Lily treasured her friends above all else. She wouldn't ever hurt them (or at least, until she got bored, or if they angered her). Toys were fated to be broken someday, right? Though she tended to take care of them for as long as she could, right now, all she wanted to do was play rough with them, throwing them away once they were broken and no longer able to function.
