I cannot believe britt is still being asked if it was helly or helena at the end of season 2 when it makes zero sense for it to be helena like literally ZERO.

1. Why would the show undermine the main message of the innies finally taking control of their own life by having one of them be an outie?

2. Why would the show pull the same plot twist twice in the span of like 6 episodes?

3. there was no time to ‘switch’ without helena being confused af about where she is or whats going on so then it must’ve been her from the beginning which means helena got on that desk and started the innie revolution? And helena told mark about jame visiting the severed floor so it was helena the previous day with jame too…? And then After cold harbor was completed she still Helped mark with distracting milchick so he could free gemma..?

it seems to me like the main issue is that people think helly was ‘smiling’ at gemma (she was not) and that ‘helly was never cruel’ must be true at all times but like. First of all that sentence is not the Word Of God. Helly is a person and she also IS helena so she very much has the ability to be cruel. And i would argue and say that when irving said that it wasn’t even correct. I think hanging herself in the elevator specifically so helena would feel it is kinda cruel lol. Like it was valid sure but cruel nonetheless.

But even so helly was not even being cruel. She thought mark was about to die, wanting one last look at the guy she loves before he ceases to exist is not Cruel? She didn’t even ask him to stay she just stood there. And all this nonsense about her smiling at gemma like i’m begging you go rewatch the scene she is smiling at mark!! And then mark starts to walk away and its filmed in slow motion so she is simply still smiling at mark! As soon as she sees gemma the smile drops and then you get another angle and you see her face without the red lighting and she is not smiling At All.

People had weirdly unrealistic expectations of helly in the finale, saying she should’ve pushed mark out the door (basically killing her boyfriend lol) or that she should prioritize Gemma above herself for some reason and when she didn’t do that you got mad at her and helly = good, helena = bad so it must be helena i guess?
