Sorry this show didn't suck up to your ass but the writers wanted murder to be the plot. It's impossible to write a murder mystery series without blood.

OK, so recently I fell down a little bit of a Wednesday Adams/wenclair rabbit hole like the rest of us have. And before the show comes out I just want to know if there is potential for it to be queer in any sense so I did a little research. Firstly Tim Burton the director, I wanted to see if he had any queer media turns out he did he had a movie that he directed that was about a gay man a while back. But anyone can be a director of any film. The plots are already set in stone by the writers so I wanted to go further with the creators of the show Miles Millar and Alfred Gough. Now, this is where it gets interesting, they have a show together called The Shannara Chronicles. This show actually features a sapphic couple, now I didn't get too much into the details or how prominent the couple was but still, this gives me hope that something could happen. I also did this research before some of the newer interviews came out and the WendsGay promotional event came out so all these things are making me think that something either queer or sapphic either happens or could happen in the future. When I first saw the trailers for the show I thought it was a short mini-series but from what I've seen and from what interviewers are saying there is going to be a season 2 or potential for season 2. Even if nothing happens this season romantically with Wednesday it could happen in the future. I have a feeling that maybe season one Wednesday falls in love with Nevermore, the idea of having friends, being social, and trusting other people. Then maybe in a later season, it could be falling in love with Enid or another character but we'll see for now.
I know for a fact that there is a sapphic relationship here since it was promoted in Most out of all places (they only promote lgbt netflix content) and the Wednesgay drag show but I'm really scared that it's Enid who ends up with Yoko because look at all the thematic parallels Enid has with Wednesday. And she's played by Jenna Ortega out of all people. Sorry to Enko group but the main one has so much potential it's crazy to waste it on heterocompliance. Tyler who doesn't really have anything special going on except daddy issues and wants to leave the town. And Wednesday who is also planning to leave the town but has a character development going on where she has to stop running away and learn how to make friends. Tl;dr Enid is literally right there
