I wake up, my debt is all paid off, my bank account is full, my relationships with my family are healthy, and I’m able to travel anywhere in the world.
“Ha! I win again!” Logan beams at the large screen in front of him. His friend Tim sighs, placing his controller down on the coffee table and getting up.
“I hope you’re ready to go through with your punishment,” Logan smirks, setting his controller down on the table as well.
“You must have rigged the game or something dude! There is no way you should have beat me so there is no way I’m going through with this punishment!” Tim glares at his friend.
“A deal is a deal bud,” Logan pats his hand on Tim’s shoulder. Tim rolls his eyes and walks off, going to find his girlfriend.
It was a few moments later when Tim found her. She was in the kitchen, cleaning up the flour and icing from her previous project. Tim takes a deep breath and leans against the freshly wiped off counter.
“I’d never play hide and seek with you because someone like you is unable to find,” Tim glances down at the notecard Logan gave him before their game; his punishment, was to read pick up lines to his girlfriend.
A faint crimson color dusts her cheeks as she looks over at her boyfriend, “Excuse me?”
“Roses are red, my face is too, that only happens when I’m around you,” Tim slides the card into his back pocket, a faint blush dusting his cheeks.
“You know… I’m not a hoarder, but I really want to keep you in my life forever,” Catching onto his little “game”, his girlfriend decides to play as well. Tim looks up at his girlfriend, opening and closing his mouth slowly, obviously at a loss for words. She smirks and continues cleaning.
Tim saunters over to his girlfriend and whispers in her ear, “Are you made of copper and tellurium? Because you’re CuTe.”
His girlfriend tried not to laugh but she couldn’t help it. She held her chest as she laughed at the cringy joke her boyfriend had made, “You’re so stupid, you know that?”
“So is falling in love… and look where it got us,” Tim smiles and wraps his arms around his girlfriend. Maybe losing to Logan wasn’t so bad after all.

You guys, I reblogged this 2 days ago out of desperation. Today I was looking through my old wallet for coins to go to the vending machine because that’s all I can fucking afford. I haven’t touched this thing since July/ August. When I found a disappointing 15 cents in the coin pocket I went to the billfold to see if any coins were in there. That’s when I saw them. 5 crisp bills amounting to $22. I literally screamed and danced around my room out of joy before remembering that I’d reblogged this post.
Tl;dr - This post is fucking magical and actually worked for me.
I have a theory that these posts actually gather energy from the wishes of people who reblog them and that’s why they work. Plus, yanno, they get passed around by witches…a lot. :)

I slowly opened the beaten up front door. In front of me there were a pair of police officers. The first officer appeared to be about 220 pounds with fair skin and bright red hair. He stuck his hand out and I reluctantly shook it.
“My name is Officer Allen and this here is my partner, Detective Drake,” he motioned to a man who appeared to be 200 pounds with pale skin and thick, dark locks of hair.
I nod meekly, silently racking my mind of reasons as to why they are here.
“Are your parents home?” Officer Allen questions, looking down at me.
I absentmindedly look past him. The sun was beaming outside. The kids were playing in the street. There was even the quiet melody of an approaching ice cream truck. I glanced across the street. The neighbor’s flower garden was finally in full bloom. Their garden consisted of bright orange tulips, bright yellow roses and–
The officer waved his hand in front of my face, pulling me out of my trance, “Ma’am, are your parents home?”
“What? Oh, um… no, they’re-”
“Ayla, who’s at the door?”
My eyes widened and my blood ran cold. It was my father. “It’s nobody, dad. They were just about to leave.” I heard footsteps make their way towards me. My dad pulled me away from the door and noticed the police officers standing there.
The other officer spoke up, “Sir, we got a call about a disturbance and we were just wondering if we had the right address.”
“You’re looking for the house next door,” my father put on a bright smile.
“I’m sorry for the confusion sir,” the first officer bids us goodbye. No sooner than they had pulled off, I’m pushed back. I stumbled and fell to the ground and my father towered above me.
“What did I tell you would happen if you called for help?” he raised his voice at me.
I slowly made my way to my feet, “I promise I didn’t do it dad!” I look up at him to see his fist raised.
I scream loudly and jolt awake. Not too soon after, my door bursts open. There in the doorway, stands Jaime, the son of my mother’s new boyfriend.
“I heard you scream. Is everything okay?” Jaime quickly strides over to me, wrapping his arms around my shaking form.
“I-I’m fine,” I blurt out, mostly trying to convince myself that it’s true. Jaime pulls me away from him, his eyes scanning over my face before returning to my eyes.
“You’re crying,” he states, slowly bringing his hand up to wipe my tears away.
“I had a bad dream,” I said, pushing his hand away from my face.
“About your father,” he states, rather than asking, “Maybe you should go and see–”
“No,” I cut Jaime off, “It was hard enough getting comfortable having a father figure in my life. I don’t think I can handle trying to talk to my father.”
“But it could give you the closure you need. I know he’s not a good person, but maybe if you can understand why he did what he did, maybe you’ll sleep better,” Jaime explains.
“No! I’m never talking to him again,” I shout at him, getting up from my bed.
“Is everything okay Ayla?” a blend of new voices enter the room. I look up to see my mother and her boyfriend. I dash over to my mother and embrace her tightly. She rakes her fingers through my hair gently.
“What’s the matter?” she coos softly, murmuring into my hair. I explain everything to her; the dream I had and the conversation I had with Jaime.
“We’re here for you,” she presses a kiss to the top of my head. We? Oh, Javi too.
“Your mother, Jaime and I really do care about you,” Javi speaks up from the doorway.
I guess they do love me. They really do care. I pull away from my mother slowly and wander over to Javi. I glance up at him, “You really mean that?”
“Of course Ayla,” He smiles kindly at me, “I’ll always be here for you and your mother. I promise to always nurture and love you both.”
For the first time, I have a say in something. I could tell my mother I want to leave and that this new familial relationship isn’t for me. I could tell her that I just want it to be me and her. She has been taking care of me since we left dad. She’s always been there. I ponder on the thought for a moment. Javi has been nothing but kind to me and he treats my mother like a queen. Jaime has always been the protection I needed in life. Why would I give this up?
I step closer to Javi and wrap my arm around him, embracing him tightly soon after. I start crying again, and for the first time in a long time, due to happiness.
