Been wanting to practice digital art a little more since I'm not super comfortable with it, so I ended up finishing this today! Mostly I wanted to get a feel for doing digital lineart again and it went smoother than I thought, so that was nice! Might try to take a few more sketches from my book and see what they'd look like colored digitally :)

Just a quick drawing of Wally from Partycoffin's welcome home pokemon au! I still do not know fully how to navigate things so I found out about it by chance a little while ago, and I love the concept of it so much!! I realized I haven't actually drawn human characters very much recently too so this was fun practice!

Ok I'm FINALLY compiling my (mostly) Grimoire drawings from early this month and onward. These are mostly from when I was figuring out how to draw everyone in a way I liked :)

Something a little different for this post! Way back when I made this account I was posting updates on my senior project for school, but I realized that I never shared the actual final piece here! I feel like I don't want to leave things on a cliffhanger even if I'm sharing this mostly for myself like 4 years later haha. Wish I had more pictures up close but I'd have to dig them up from old flash drives or something probably...

Here's another pic just for scale reference! Think the house was about 4 feet tall ish or so?

A big part of why I went through with a project so different from my usual comfort of drawing was that I didn't know when I'd ever be able to do something like this again--let alone have a space where I could show it. It was very stressful at times at the end--trying to get everything together and essentially not knowing whether it would actually look any good until it went up not long before the show.

Despite that, it was still a fun project and I'd love to do something big like this again if I had the chance!! No idea when that would be able to happen though given life, so for now I'm just glad it could happen once :) but who knows!

Also posting this as a reminder to myself that in the limited times I've dabbled in more sculptural stuff I have really enjoyed it for the most part! I am by no means an expert and it's not polished work, but it can be a fun challenge! Past me was in some regards more willing to take artistic risks and get excited with projects like this, so I feel like I could always use more reminders of that :)

Some more welcome home (this time au) stuff! I can't claim that I know everything about it but I really like the design for this au!! (created by @clownsuu ! ) so I did something small for fun :D

Ah I am so short on time and energy with work but I have some other drawing ideas sitting in my brain that I feel like I have to get out!! So hopefully more art soon when I can get more rest :) thanks for reading!

Hi friends!

I have great news - after 5 years, I have finished drawing my graphic novel/comic, Monster Trail. There is still the matter of printing the book, but I'll be promoting that once I get it figured out.

In the mean time, I'm so excited to enjoy this new chapter of my life. I still have some big life things I need to work on, but it's good to no longer have my free time plagued by guilty thoughts of "man, I should really be working on MT right now". And just in time for fall, too! I hope to enjoy reading, doodling, exploring, etc.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been following me since the early days, when I first started posting my monster characters. And if you've followed me recently, despite my general inactivity, thank you! I can't wait to share my book with you!
