Hello! And welcome to the first blog for my Madness Combat AU, Pastel Madness. It is a timeline/alternate universe focused on Tricky the Clown, and his circus! This is an ask blog up for it, and I plan to have it story based, along with accepting questions for him and other performers :) Its meant to be mostly light hearted, but angst will occur from time to time, as the backstory of it, seeing as HANK still exists here- isnt the be s  t-- But DISCLAIMER!! Im making this PURELY as a way to cope with really bad mental health issues I've been having lately. While I plan to take this story seriously, Im making it soully cuz it makes me happy. I cant promise I'll return to comics any time soon because madcom honestly just,,makes me really uncomfortable after the whole "Someone roleplaying as Pastel Tricky and I asked Krinkles for help like an idiot" situation- Its a trauma thing dw about it /lh I really need to get over it its been like 2 years

but like,,, god I really miss this au yk :(

I may come back to it once I get an actual desktop, as a treat- and with a fuckinb Script this time- But as of rn I finally am back in my account, so expect the occasional piece atleast-

I may at the least completely archive all major content and wipe the blog in prep for that, but not soon cuz Im on mobile- Just when Im ready

Hello all! Its your mod speaking, taking up a new title for my posts. "The Ringmaster" / #ringmaster post

I hope yall will take the time to read this announcement, for its somewhat important.

I'd like to formally apologize for the lack of activity for the blog these past..what, 2 months?

I've not been doing the best in the realm of mental health, and I've had a hard time bringing myself to work on the story of Pastel Madness, or make much art of it, despite knowing I should and wanting to.

But starting in the next few weeks, I will be making myself focus on this AU again, answering what asks come in, making adopts for you all, etc.

I have responsibilities here, and I need to act on them.

This is something I was passionate about, and I've not fed into that passion in too long now.

I miss when this blog was alive and talking about what I had created out of a common interest of mostly everyone here.

But thats enough of the more serious note;

Now onto a lighter note with this announcement.

Going forward, there are going to be afew changes to the discord server, AND the artwork for the blog.

Server Changes:

-Channel Reworking

-(possibly) New staff

-OC submission requirement tweaking (minor)

-Future Server events

Blog/Art Changes: -New intro post [coming soon]

-Art style update

-More interactive art responses *outside* Trickys room

-Pre-written story

-Comic layout changes

-Character design tweaks (Although minorly, Tricky will be included in this)

I look forward to bringing more content to you all again.

Wait. How did you sword swallow with your mask on?

On days with those sorts of performances planned, I wear an identical mask to my usual one with a thin about 2 inch vertical slit in the front where its angled that the sword slips through. From the audience, it just looks like its magickly phasing through to lol- It was a suggestion by one of our performers, and quite a clever one in my opinion. ^^

Hey Tricky! What's the most dangerous act you've ever done?

Ohh thats a tough one- I've done quite afew considerably dangerous acts. Sword Swallowing, fire or chainsaw juggling, or (not so tamed yet) beast handling are probably the most dangerous Ive done in the recent past, but I have others I did when I was,,,abit skinnier- Like acrobatics with fire, and overall aerial acts without safety nets

Its pretty good! A wonderful change of scenery compared to previous jobs Ive had. Although I guess it helps with the fact I run the joint, lol ^^
