36 years ago at Beau Sejour,Guernsey.
Yet another retro gig-this time it was a sold out Broadwater Hall in Manchester , for the fantastic 80’s band ABC with the London Sonphonia, conducted by Anne Dudley.
Not bad for my 60th birthday treat!
Back in the early 1970’s, before we had a leisure centre in Guernsey that put on current rock and pop acts, we had the quaintly named Little Theatre, which is exactly what it was. But it did bring us some acts that had noteable hits, like Edison Lighthouse’s “Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes), Christie’s “Yellow River”, Love Affair’s “Everlasting Love” and Pretty Things “Don’t Bring Me Down”
