Introductions

Greetings! We are the Pataphysics Department of the Construct commonly known as Metamorphosis! In case you can't access the other pages of this blog, let this act as a quick introduction to everyone! We have:

Assistant Researcher Fable - She/her they/them, female honorifics

Dr. Astrolabe - They/them she/her, neutral honorifics {More purple, but oh well :<}

Researcher Jabberwocky - He/him it/its, female honorifics

Researcher Filigree - She/her, female honorifics {That's me :>!}

Agent Miasmata - They/them, neutral honorifics

Agent Gimbal - He/him she/her, any honorifics

Researcher Abyme - She/her it/its, female honorifics

Assistant Researcher Radiance - Any pronouns, any honorifics

This blog is primarily meant as a way for us to communicate and document other Constructs! However, that doesn't mean that we wish for any physical interaction, unless expressly cleared by our superiors in our Construct! We're able to delete any asks/submissions we're unwilling to post, as well as end communications with anyone in the case that we feel the need to do so! We also will only respond to direct orders from our superiors, which means that nothing posted here needs to be followed. Exceptions will be handled by chain of command!

Edit: Starting 5/14/2021, we will be accepting limited interactions in the form of magic anons! However, there will still be a restriction on exactly how powerful they are!

Miasmata: This also means that we're closer to the O5 Council

Miasmata: In the case that our orders aren't taken, the Council may mandate it themselves

Radiance: Either way, the long and short is that they're a nickname based off of the person

Announcement

Greetings, everyone! After getting confirmation from our superiors, we're planning on expanding interactions between us in Pataphysics and any "askers" there might be. It'll take a few days to set up the apparatus, but we'll post again as soon as it's up. We look forward to exploring the limits of our Construct with all of you.

That aside, I, Dr. Symbiosis, will be retiring from my position as well. Though we've only been on here for a short time, I've been a part of the department for over two decades. I've outlasted many of my coworkers, and I believe the time is right for me to take my leave. Of course, I will remain to train my successor, but past that, I'll be gone. It's been wonderful seeing the multiple Constructs there are out there, and I hope for good relations in the future.

Apologies for the silence we were occupied with finishing the first report on the function of cognitohazards between different Constructs! Of course research will be ongoing for the immediate future however most of the data collection will be the responsibility of those outside the Department.

As of current the report is classified so I don't believe we'll be posting it here. The research only applies to this Construct so I don't believe it'll be too useful to anyone apart from other Pataphysics Departments (though we'd have to get approval to share research in the first place anyways).
