Thoughts:
Oneshot manga suggestion for today. I still have another completed manga that I have to make a suggestion/review?/thoughts?? Well enough of that.
This is a very cute story. Honestly I couldn't give more thought about this, not in a bad way. It's plot is clear and straightforward and the ending just gives me the giddies. I think this would have a serialized potential but if this is what the author wants, then I hope people would read this manga and blow up (in a good way).
Within the winding streets of Kyoto's geisha district lives a 16 year old girl named Kiyo.
After failing to become a Maiko, a traditional dance apprentice, she starts working as caterer for her troupe. This is the story of her daily life.
Thoughts:
Awww maaan, this is a very good slice of life manga. I've learned that whenever things don't go your way, it's better to accept it and look forward to something else as good opportunities will come to you.
There is a tiny tiny bit of romance. Also a word of advice, do not read when your stomach is empty HAHHAHA I can't count how many times my stomach growled at the sight of Miyo making meals, makes me want to try them as well.
The Mighty Minotaurus, ruler and protector of the forest, is a powerful but gentle being. One day, a patrol of humans enters the forest, and he opts to chase them all away, which they promptly do save for Captain Ruviné, a beautiful and tomboyish young woman warrior with a renowned reputation. While she's seeking quarrel, and knowing that they're not a match for Ruviné, in order to find something to fend her off, one of the forest sprites gives Minotaurus a book of human phrases illegible to the forest beings that one of the Captain's subordinates dropped … which ends up working, but not in the way anyone expected…
This is a tale of two individuals who, in spite being in opposite camps, are somehow reaching an understanding through multiple misunderstandings.
Thoughts:
Something short and sweet since it's been a couple of weeks since my past manga reads post hahaha. Very straightforward story, it's funny, light and sweet.
Kinda forgot to share this here. I WAS THERE WHEN THIS DROPPED ON VALENTINE'S DAY AND LEMME TELL YOU, I WAS BROKEN!! ༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽ Like WHYYYY. It's nice to know a bit of background on the characters but showing the alternate universes WHERE THEY COULD BE HAPPY?! OH GHAAD MY HEART. But honestly this is such a sweet yet sorrowful sounding song. If you don't know the lore it will really sound like a lullaby. I love Hyuna's voice from the rock/pop genre to this shift, such an amazing range of voice.
I like to describe this as like summoning satan but satan had anime backup dancers (this was my boyfriend's idea of the song and it was hilarious). This song is such a banger, personally I don't listen to heavy metal very often but this stood out for me. I couldn't say the same for their other songs, I guess it's just preference but their songs are totally awesome to listen to while at work, it gives the vibe of "metal" person (I'm just lol-ing at this point but please check out their songs if you guys are interested, it's worth a listen)

*Spoiler*
I CRIED TEARS OF HAPPINESS. MY HEART IS SO HAPPY AND SATISFIED OF THE ENDING I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
I read this about like the last 3 years ago and dropped it, it must've been flooded with a lot of manga and webtoons that I've been reading at the same time. This wasn't like any other villainous reincarnated type of manhwa. It's honestly such a good thing that this popped out of my feed and I remember it instantly. I was hooked by nostalgia and managed to finish reading it in one day.
To the villains, YOU GUYS #$@KING DESERVE YOUR DEMISE!!!
I really love the Female lead and Heroine(?). They weren't too annoying or dumb. I especially love the heroine's character being independent and smart. She knows her worth ✨. I also love how genuine the female lead was, actually I love all the characters in this series. They all had genuine reactions that the female lead does not treat them all like "npcs" in a story she read. She helped them have a better life.
THE ROMANCE IN THIS, MY GHAAAD I WAS KICKING MY FEET UP HIGH, GIGGLING LIKE A HIGHSCHOOL GIRL. The romance wasn't too corny, it was very sweet that you would say "Aweee" whenever the romance stuff happens. The comedy was the right amount as well, it wasn't over exaggerated, I love the funny expressions portrayed. The artstyle was very beautiful, it had this like youthful and playful vibe to it, almost like it brightens your day.
There were some chapters that I had a hard time understanding, but maybe that was just the translation. Sometimes it didn't make sense at all and sometimes it would repeat, I don't know if that was intentional. Sometimes it made sense after reading it a few times, slowly.
Such a worth-it to read if you are starting manhwa and you're not looking for a villainous reincarnated story. (I don't mean anything bad about villainous reincarnated stories, I personally like them even though some might say it's just a repeating storyline)
Thank you very much author and artist for creating this series!
I can describe this song in one word, "Badass". This is such a bop to listen to. I feel like a hero saving the day or a super villain making weapons. This is definitely a good song to start the day with.
Title: Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shite shimatta... Zettai Zetsumei! Hametsu Sunzen Hen
By: Yamaguchi satoru, Nishi
Status: Ongoing
Synopsis:
A high school girl is stunned to find herself reincarnated as the conniving villainess from her favorite dating sim…but something’s off! What if, when Katarina Claes was reincarnated into Fortune Lover from the original series, she didn’t regain the memories of her past life until she was fifteen? With less than a year to go before her destruction, Katarina must find a way to avoid all possible bad endings!
Thoughts:
To be honest, the story got too messy for me personally, maybe its because some of the chapters take too long to update which makes me forget what it was about. The romance is kinda slow too they keep introducing new potential love interests and characters which kinda makes it hard to keep up with what their character story was. The mc is great and the comedy was not too exaggerated. I think I might pick this up again once the story is finished and give another thought soon.
Our protagonist, the speedrunning emperor of Another Verse, suddenly feels sleepy in the middle of practice. When he awakens, the familiar opening of Another Verse is playing right before his eyes!? In this godly environment where his body is moving better than usual, he has to speedrun! Clearing the game world faster than anyone!
Thoughts:
This is hilarious HAHAHHA. I love the idea that the MC is just speed running everything, it doesn't get boring from there after the first chapter because I lowkey expected for the succeeding chapters to go downhill from there but the comedy and story makes up for it, such a laugh on this, I genuinely enjoyed reading this.
Ahh dang my heart is emotional. The hype, sadness, happiness for Ody reuniting with his beloved and son. The wait was worth it, Penelope's melody is just amazing to listen.
I watched the replay vid of the live premiere on Jorge's youtube, it was so funny to see the cast in the background and their reactions make the listening party more enjoyable.
Thank you Epic: The Musical Crew and Jorge Rivera-Herrans for this Masterpiece!
Title: The Masterful Cat is Depressed again Today / Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuuutsu
By: Yamada Hitsuzi
Status: Ongoing
Synopsis:
When Saku took in a stray black cat, she never expected that he would become the equivalent of a housekeeping life partner. But Yukichi, a giant cat who towers over Saku, is not your ordinary feline. He takes great pride in his culinary skills, and a good sale at the supermarket always gets his whiskers twitching. Saku may not have her act together yet, but at least she has Yukichi!
Thoughts:
Another heartwarming manga to read. It's not too funny that you get bored of every chapter having jokes, but it's not too serious as well; it keeps things balanced. It also doesn't get too boring as you read it.
The people are so normal with Yukichi lol and there were other rational people that were shocked by him but it's not too overreacting. I wish I also had a cat/person that would take care of me like Yukichi (•́ ‿ ,•̀ ) but oh well.
I was also surprised that this manga has an anime! Let's do our best to support the manga and the anime.
Okay, so since Arcane is popping up again, I wanna bring this banger back from S1. This has been my hype song on my playlist. Both the scenes of Ekko and Jinx fighting AND THEIR ALTERNATE UNIVERSE?! I AM NEVER GOING TO GET OVER THE TIMEBOMB SHIP ༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽
Modern Japan is overrun by "vampires" who mimic and eat people. In order to hunt them down, there are girls who fight in secret with silver weapons in their hands! Among the vampire exterminators, there is a unit of "troublemakers," a.k.a. "Mazarasou." Newly assigned there is Reo, a girl with a certain secret. She meets a woman named Kaika Kiriya, who is one of the most "dangerous" women in the group. A painful, extreme, and sometimes friendship. Hunting, hunting, hunting!
Thoughts:
THE HYPE I GET FROM READING THIS!! Although it's still ongoing with not many chapters, it leaves you wanting more. It gets a little ecchi from time to time as a comedic relief.
Now I get the hype around Alien Stage, the visuals and vocals *chef's kiss* and I'm glad I was influenced, this song had the most impact for me. Seeing Till hallucinate between Mizi and Ivan got me so worried for him, like let my boy have a break ( ⚈̥̥̥̥̥́⌢⚈̥̥̥̥̥̀) LET EVERYONE HAVE A BREAK.
I love the melody between Odysseus and his crew (especially with Polities, I'm biased) although I have to admit, Eurylochos' verse got me stimming unconsciously (in a good way) lol.
Hinata Saotome is suddenly asked out by En Shinohara, a gorgeous boy in her grade. What she doesn’t know, though, is that his hobby is cross-dressing! En has always hated men, and whenever he sees his own reflection, he punches out whatever is doing the reflecting (windows, mirrors…). To combat this hatred, he dresses up as a girl. Hinata decides to go out with him anyway, despite his weird hobby.

Liar Lily / Usotsuki Ririi
Thoughts:
Thank you so much for this author!
THIS IS IT (人*´∀`)。*゚+ nostalgia train~. The manga that shaped my personality (lol) like being comfortable to wear whatever clothes whether it be male or female clothing, wanting to be the "cool" type like hinata, teaching me manners and how I want my love life to be. I read this in highschool which raised my standards in men, oh to be loved like En loving Hinata (I wonder if I phrased that right?) no matter, This and ouran highschool host club was my OG back in the day. I wonder why there wasn't an anime about this, the giddies this gave me when it was about En and Hinata, it's such a healthy couple, accepting their differences, communicating about their worries and the assurance they both gave to one another makes my heart squeal in happiness. The comedy back in the day still gives me the laughs until now, especially whenever they break the fourth wall, that was hilarious. I love this manga, it had the right mix of comedy, drama and romance and although there were a lot of characters, I am very happy that the author gave them all a happy ending. This will always be my favorite manga, my #1 and personally for me there is no other one in the world that can replace this.
