Hellaverse- A Sinner's Rose

In the Hellaverse, Carmine is one of the many humans with demonic contracts that cooperate with Overlords and hell's nobility in exchange for power.

Namely, Carmine and his family business act as suppliers of Hell's legions of drug fiends! Coke, fent, crack, meth, pills, you name it. For a lot of Hell, shipping it down from the underworld is cheaper than producing it themselves, so Falcone Imports manages the production. Some folks with Asmodean Crystals come up topside to pick up the drugs, he gets payment with boon contracts and a fat stack of valuables.

And sometimes, if things are really good? He gets to visit the Pride Ring and celebrate the achievements of his partners.

Hey everybody! Sorry for the absence of late. We've been having some IRL stuff going on. Lots of doctor and hospital visits, lots of traveling *for* those appointments, a landlord jerking us around about visitation.

In good news- I finally have a new wheelchair! It's all mine, and covered by my insurance- so I'll be able to get around more. We also found a decent house where the mortgage would be half what we currently pay in rent- so we're pooling everything we have to try and get the down payment, and should be out of this place by September!

Bad news is- I apparently have Sciatica now. So that's a fun new diagnosis to add to the list.

I'm gonna work on a few attacks on Artfight a day before working on any replies- But I should be back to both soon enough. Love you all! Stay safe!

Opinions on the TADC Finale

Spoilers Ahead

I liked the way they made Jax's queerness pretty explicit while leaving whether they actually transition irl pretty ambiguous. Still leaves wiggle room for those of us in the fandom who HC them transmasc to have our fun while finally giving the Transfem Jax theorists some good fucking food.

I read the finale's approach to the new visitation policy with the Abstractions to be akin to a psych ward. Everyone who lost their stability now have a support structure.

I love the redemption for Caine involving him becoming more human, less powerful, and respecting the free will of humans. Love the implications around trying to cure abstraction. Love the pro-recovery message for cluster B folks told through Caine and his arc.

I love this finale.

A lot of fun working on this. Having the scars be in different stages of healing, doing a study of burn scars and how they heal and change the body, colortesting blues for scar tissue, lip color, etc- a great challenge.
