"So you’re a cleric, then," the drow retorts. Her experience with those has never been to pleasant, if she were to be honest about it. But if one draws magic from a god, that’s what they rightly are. "Which god do you speak of?"
There’s no visible holy symbols, though perhaps it may just be some god she’s yet to have heard of. But “god” is not a term used in singular here.
"Is that what they call my kind here?" he asked, tilting his head. There were more people like him in this world? That sounded rather promising considering he had felt very much alone in that aspect.
"Ill Illah." he said.

What’s strange is the color of her skin: almost black, like wetted earth, like a polished piece of some kind of smoky gemstone, or maybe how the shadows seem to cling to her in defiance of his light.
"Light like that will attract attention down here," she warns. The shadows around her seem. To move, though it may be the light flickering.
Maybe there were underground creature he didn't know of in Alma Toran, it was certainly possible, but he knew this wasn't his home. It didn't feel like his home. The creature before him looked rather human, which was surprising for something that hid underground. She had exotic looks, much darker skin and pointed ears. She was strangely beautiful for something non-human.
The hand that gripped his staff tighten around it's shaft. "Indeed? I'll be fine in defending myself."

"A-ah!" He stumbled towards where his hair was being pulled. Ithnan landed on the bed with an oof and he looked up at David. "It’s…been a long time…"
