Here is some UI design ting by art director Aske Kaagaard - featuring various illustrations and other arts from the whole team. It's super awesome to see this, as we can really start to imagine how the game will look in the end!

Meet Larry! He's a poor soul that got touched by the corruption that is plaguing the spirit realm. So now, he wanders about, frenzied, looking for somebody to hug him. Don't touch him, though! The corruption will kill you.
Concept by Malik Sigrist
Meet Dávdna’s parents, the High Sramana, Viggu, and his wife, Edel! Concepts by Mayenna Sophie and @monsiearts
In the spirit realm, Dávdna gets to meet some peculiar spirits. Check out this coral spirit by Konsta Nikkilä Cool fact: this spirit's personality was inspired by our wonderful coordinator, Anja Perl <3
Happy New Year! Here are some of our highlights from our first semester on the project:
1. Having Sebastian Trelles from SYBO Games come and teach us game design. He did a wonderful job teaching and critiquing us, and he also played Hollow Knight and Celeste with us, for some inspiration.
2. Meeting our sound/music guys Andreas Liboriussen and Lukas Julian Lentz from Sonic College in Southern Jutland. They're an awesome couple of guys and we're very excited to work with them.
3. Having Mathieu Durand come and give us awesome After Effects tips and tricks for our motion illustration cinematics. He came with some awesome effects we can use, which are going to save us a lot of time. Thank you to everybody that has helped us on the project so far, we are very grateful!
We hope you are all enjoying your holidays! Here are some concepts for our tribe in the material realm, by Konsta Nikkilä and Malik Sigrist
We are now on Christmas break, which gives us more time to share some of our progress.
Amongst other things, we managed to get pretty far with the vertical slice of our game. This is the tutorial/starting area.
We have a couple of things to fix in January, but the puzzle pieces are gradually coming together!
We are ready to reveal the designs of our main character, Dávdna! In the material realm, we will see her in her usual, human form. But it is her soul that travels to the spirit realm, and not her body, which means that, during gameplay, Dávdna shall be glowing white/turquoise. This design was created by our animator/production manager, @monsiearts
As we are having two motion illustration cinematics in our game, we of course had to make a vertical slice to test out the technicalities of this part of our production.
Konsta Nikkilä and Malik Sigrist painted these beautiful illustrations, and Malik then edited and comped them together.
Enjoy the Star Wars music ;)
Have a log line and an early prototype video! We have the core mechanics nailed down, and the play feel is pretty good, so far, thanks to Nikola Enchev We also currently have a 3d camera setup, which gives us parallax for free The background art is a mood piece for our jungle biome, by Malik Sigrist
It's about time we uploaded our mood boards for the game! As we're building two new worlds, we are referencing a variety of cultures and subject matters, so as to keep things fresh. Please note that none of this work is ours - these are our references that we use for inspiration, as we build our project.
Welcome to our game development journey! At the moment, we are in preproduction, working on story, pipeline, R&D, and visual reference gathering.
Today, we had a big floor meeting to discuss our art style and the overall look/rules of our worlds - the material realm and the spirit realm. Next, we shall be starting early concepts and level design blockouts.
