The Fishermen
This was done sort of at the tail-end of mermay ( pun not intended) since i haden‘t really participated in the challenge prior.
Also, it‘s yet another elf character. I think i just really love the design aspect of long ears with earrings.
The Hike
This was done as one of the last projects i made for school.
This was made to be printed out in layers and stuck on top of each other to create this kind of 3D collage effect… Sadly that didn‘t work particularly well since our printer couldn‘t handle any sort of thick paper.
But the digital piece still came out kind of dope tbh. I was also drawing a lot of elf’s this years, if you couldn‘t tell.
The nightwatch
This is one of the paintings that make me go „wow, I did that“ I made this in April and I’m happy to report that it still holds up :)
I love how detailed the character design came out and how flowy the hair looks.
For a long time i was very afraid to draw fanart for any show or anime that i loved.
I was afraid that my irl mutuals would see it, and somehow for some reason think of me as less of an artist or something. But deep down i just knew i wasn‘t doing it to appease one person in particular who would relentlessly mock me for liking JoJos bizarre adventure that i desperately wanted to keep at bay.
That person is no longer in my life and i know that life is too damn short to not make art for something that you love.
(I also tried providing a speedpaint for this one, but i honestly can‘t tell if it worked cuz tumblr is weird about videos)
Spring is coming
This illustration was one of the first were i slowly started experimenting with backgrounds and how i could incorporate my characters into them.
I discovered that i had a little bit of a hidden talent for landscape paintings specifically done in oil paint, so i tried recreating that in my digital art. I like how it makes the characters stand out in an almost collage like fashion and how there’s so much for you to look at :D
I have a pretty big backlog of art, that i didn‘t end up posting here and i kinda want to revive this blog! Here you can start to see me trying to blend this sort of painterly style of the background with the cartoon-ish style i draw my characters in.
Shit ton of stuff happened and I sorta abandoned this blog. Only recently did I realise tho that insta is most definitely not the place to post my vampire fetish art lol.
Happy holidays,everyone! Recently I’ve really enjoyed this ‘painterly’ style of rendering my digital drawings. Originally i wanted to post This drawing yesterday (as itis the day we celebrate Christmas in Germany) but sadly i just had little to no time to work on it, Now it is finished though and i gotta say...I’m in love with the results. What do you think?

This is definitely the result of another case of ‘my girlfriend made me watch this’, I cannot lie tho i enjoyed it a whole lot :) so much so that i made a drawing with a fucking background lol
Wasn’t quite sure if i could post this on the instagrams, so tumblr is getting it first. I definitley went out of my comfort zone with this one (hence the dark overlay and the not very detailed background lol)

I’m Pats, and you just stumbled across my tumblr account.
I created the blog mainly for my art, so you’ll rarely catch me babbling on poetically, but i thought i should probably introduce myself. As mentioned before i go by Pats around here and i have been drawing for the last 6 years. More recently i decided that i would like to pursue a career in art in the future!
This blog does not only serve as away of documenting my work but also helps me work towards reclaiming the joy of creating my own stories and characters. To express my feelings in a way that i can’t with words(let’s be honest tho a lot of the times i just wanna draw cute girls tbh). As for now i believe there isn’t anything more to say.
