Reflection for the first Quarter

Media Literacy Information

It is all about on how to be a good literate. We used information in order to ratify and defend our answer. In our professions, communication is very important. It is our medium to be connected to others. As first quarter ends for this subject, I learned a lot. And one of the lesson that I remember is getting information. Information for us is not just information, it informs us. So we must choose trusted information especially in internet. And this subject gives me an opportunity to inspired others and give them a trusted information through making propaganda. This propaganda will make a way to people especially who experience different problems specifically my topic "Cyber Bullying". I want to say that , "I survive". For me, online class is not easy especially on people does not familiar on different technologies.

STOP CYBER- BULLYING!

Cyber bullying is one of the problems of people's today, especially among young people. There is nothing more to deny, because we are now dependent on technologies.

There are many social media platforms that we use to share our feelings, connect to others and share our opinions and perspectives.

Online violence, cyber bullying and digital harassment affect over 70 percent of young people globally, according to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

We value every life of the youth because they are the future of the people. We need to be wise and understanding at all times. Being a youth, it is very hard for us to understand everything in this world, so we need the help of others in order to understand ourselves. That is why we share our feelings in different social medias.

We need to be considerate every time we press and share our opinions on social media.

If we know we can hurt other people's feelings. Stop it!

WE MUST KNOW!!!

If you experience such situations please contact the authorities as we have a law for these cases.

Under House Bill 5718, or the proposed “Anti Cyber-Bullying Act of 2015,”cyber-bullies shall face a penalty of fines ranging from P50,000 to P100,000, or imprisonment between six months and six years, or both, at the discretion of the court.

If possible let's just share things that can help them like motivational quotes and good vibes that can make them happy and hopeful.

INFORMATION LITERACY

Fake news is one of the problems in delivering meaningful and realistic news. A lot of fake news is spreading now and we need to be careful so that we do not get involved or be fooled by them. We need to carefully study each of the information we gather so that we can provide good information to them. AND ALSO STOP SPREADING FAKE NEWS. The importance of every true information is for us to be aware about the happenings in our community and our country. Being a perpetualites let us be the way to spread true and reliable information.

This lesson taught me the value of information in our lives. For us to be updated in happenings in our country and community.

Began when electronic equipment including computer and radio came into use and long communication became efficient.

As I continue my journey I always do my best to become ME! To be unique and better person. I show my real attitude. This is the real me. And to be a better person I want myself to inspire others. To inspire them through my experiences. No matter what circumstances we experience, WE STAND! even if we stumble. Let ourselves be the light of this darkest world. Let our lights shine upon others. Be the light and salt of this world!
