Robyn`s Honey is sweeter than ever

Yo peeps welcome to future. Let`s get back to 2010, where she dropped out her record “Body Talk”. Ever since that, 8 years have passed by so time to wake up as the future of pop music is here.

Robyn is back with her latest creation called “Honey”. It is simple, honest yet excruciating club tunes set the record on fire. 

A slight change of tone compared to the predecessor. The Song “ Missing U” is undoubtedly one of the darker gems of the Album.  Singing about unfulfilled love, waste of effort and time which I guess quite reflects on our dating nowadays. Trying to reinvent yourself with every new heartbreak you`re facing. 

As the second song “Human Being” describes her being lost, somehow trapped in this mortal state. There is no other way to survive just by letting go, loosen up and just move your body. Still, there is this glimpse of hope in her sad voice “don`t give up on me now”. 

Let those feelings overwhelm you, revisit the pain and the memories in “Because It`s In The Music” I guess there is no problem never forgetting where you initially started from so you can see the new path your heading towards to.

The slow ballad unveils her deep desire to be forgiven as she sings “ Baby Forgive Me”. Quite unusual, considering we are still talking about the Girl, who`s dancing on her own :P 

Last but not least my favorite funky song from this record. You just have to wait for this climactic ending. Full of life and positive thoughts she reflects on her past that has almost destroyed her and she does promise herself “never be broken hearted - c`mon let`s have it out”. Such a positive message turns into this power pop song makes you wanna drop everything and just dance along the rhythm of “ Ever Again”. Cool
