Mom Life Series
#momlife In real life with a stay-at-home mom. Hey there guys! Ever wonder what stay-at-home moms do? I thought about it a lot before I got pregnant thinking, I'd hire a nanny for my baby cause I need to work and make money, but here I am, stuck with the baby. I thought at first it would be easy because you're just at home, working online, and will just feed the baby whenever he cries. I thought hiring a nanny is easy because you're expecting an online or home based job, but in reality there's no job in store for you, well at most times. No money, no nanny. You're on your own. I thought it would be easy to do chores because most of your day, the baby sleeps. In reality, you have no sleep at night and you have to do the chores during the day, resulting in a sleep deprived state. I thought people would help you (I live with my parents) and support you and you would feel loved, but in my case. I am receiving sermons I don't need and it gets me sad and I think I'm stressed and would result to depression if we won't be moving out soon. Disclaimer: I am a graduate of Psychology and I am very aware of the signs of depression and if ever I feel it, I'd go seek help, don't worry about me. Blogging distresses me. I thought working out with schedule would be easy and staying fit would work while at home and eating clean would be easy. Unfortunately, these didn't work on me. I have goals set, written on my notebook and planner. Planned every workout for 5 days a week, but these turned out to be on hold because again, I don't have enough sleep. Working out requires enough sleep. I sleep 3 hours at night, 5 hours in the afternoon and eat then go back to sleep but then the baby would wake up in the middle of the night, making me tired in mornings. Can I sneak in a 30-min workout during the day? No. I cannot. How I wish I can sleep train my baby soon, so I can get back to shape and be strong. Diet doesn't matter to me, as long as I eat because I need it to at least stay strong and be away from sickness. What else? Hmm.. I thought I still can get out and meet friends, but in reality you won't have social life in a few months because your weekends are reserved for rest plus you don't have money to spend on a posh dinner. I thought making time for yourself is relaxing, I guess this one my answer is yes. Make time for yourself, watch movies or series, destress for a few minutes. If you can sneak in a work out, do it. If you're not feeling tired then push it. You got this momma! This is your life for now, so embrace it. You can only have a baby for a few years. Kiss him, hug him, play with him, wash his clothes, sing him to sleep All these sacrifices are for your baby's wellness, just don't forget yourself, too! God bless newbie mom! I can’t get over this 😂😂😂
Let me talk about this one.
I’m an avid fan of KDramas but this Legend of the Blue Sea keeps cracking me up like seriously, every episode is a roller coaster of emotions.
Especially this episode (Ep.6) Lee Min Ho’s accent here is so funny, even if you’re not a KDrama fan or Non Lee Min Ho fan (like me) you will laugh at this so loud even your neighbor can hear you laugh. Lol
Good job, LEGEND OF THE BLUE SEA TEAM. I can’t wait for another episode!
I’m a fan of Jun Ji Hyun, she’s timeless! Her beauty is timeless!
Banana and Eggs Pancake?! This 2-ingredient pancake is most likely a pancake I would share. Recipe: 1 Banana 2 Med Eggs Procedure: Mashed banana Beat 2 eggs and add to the mashed banana Heat the pan, add in cooking oil or butter ( I measured the mixture using a 1/3C measuring cup ) Cook the mixture like you would for a pancake Best served with Maple Syrup This can make 5 pieces of pancakes. Honest thoughts. Banana omelet. Yep. At first taste, it was heaven in my mouth, but each bite I take it's beginning to taste eggy or like eating an omelet with banana in it! I would share this to someone. I can only eat 2 of these unlike regular pancakes or protein pancakes that I can stubbornly eat by myself. Good read. For future reference. *coughs* for Jake.
The Author.
KAT ssi, what are you, really? Ambitious writer. Frustrated Dancer. Wanna-be Youtuber (maybe if time permits, lol) Kdrama fanatic. Hi everyone! Did I introduce myself to you already? Nope, not yet. Maybe you read my About Me section but this one is updated. My name is Katrina Sanchez, 23, a new mom, stay-at-home mom. I finished college, worked for over 2 years and realized I got pregnant. Single in civil status but in a relationship in real life. My boyfriend is Pats, 25 and a new dad, working to support the baby and my hungry tummy. We are living together shamelessly in my parent's house in a small room with our Jakey! Of course we want to have our own house and get married, but for the meantime we will shamelessly live here. I just hope we can move out sooner than expected. Nice to meet you everyone!

#momlife BLOG Post
I cannot limit myself posting for one story a day, thoughts are pouring in, a lot has been happening to me and I wanted to share all of it. Guys, I haven’t blogged for God knows how long already and I’m going insane if I have these thoughts and not put into writing!
Lately, I’ve been thinking, if I become a #vlogger/YouTuber, I’ll be allotting time for filming, editing, doing chores, etc, etc, etc. You know Judy from itsjudyslife? HOW. DOES. SHE. DO. IT? Juggling through her daily vlogs, filming and editing and being a mother to her lovely girls, being a wife, etc, etc, etc. *insert eyeballs rolling* You know what I mean.
As a mom, as a new mom rather, I learned that you need balance in life. Everything needs balance, people. It’s not easy, even if you’re just a stay-at-home mom! (I’ll write about what stay-at-home mom do in a separate post just because….)What more if you’re working? *Hands Down* *much respect* It is the most exhausting job I’ve ever had! I’ve been in a call center recently for almost 2 years, balance was a bit… easy, though I can still manage to go to work even if I only had 2-3 hrs of sleep. But this, this new me, I slept with my baby for 2-3 hours a night and when it’s time for me to feed him, I feel so tired. Why? Unknown reasons, you’re just tired. Anyone agrees? Can I get an “Amen”?
That’s probably my main dilemma here. I can’t do it yet. (YouTuber thing) I’ll film my cooking and edit when I have time and then that’s it. I am also a camera shy. (Butter Movement hasn’t shown his face to the public so maybe I’ll try that. Lol) Time management, that’s what I was good at, before, now I need to reinvent myself again and again and again. There’s nothing wrong there, even my planned small business is in standby mode. Life.
To my unexpected readers: To be honest, I accidentally shared my other blog post on my Facebook! Like WHAT THE F?! I don’t open my Facebook that much, but still I think I embarrassed myself there, for a bit. Haha!
This blog is my haven, my sanctuary, my own corner, my life…in secret, but in details yet this is going to be discovered by some unknown creatures in the planet and I just, I’m not ready yet. I’m too…shy? Uuuggghhh.

#momlife BLOG POST!
Newbie Mom Essentials!
I’ll be sharing to you few of my “Mommy Essentials” when it comes to my baby Jake! I’ve tried some brands as well but these items just works best for me and the baby, and daddy’s budget! :D
These are very few, I don’t know if other moms has a lot (like toys and stuff), but these are my go-to products and the products I can’t live without as a mom, haha! These are enough, for now.
So here you go, S-26 Gold (0-6mos.) - We used Enfamil before, but it was expensive and I asked our pedia if we can change it and she recommended S-26 HA, but then we thought that Gold has higher DHA compared to Enfamil.
So why Formula Milk? I stopped breastfeeding after a month of Jake’s birth because I don’t have enough milk or my supply is insufficient. I know this subject is a bit touchy from the other moms and non moms who are supporting breastfeeding. To be honest, when I was pregnant I keep eating stew or soup that has moringga (malunggay) in it because I was planning to breastfeed my baby. I even take Natalac or malunggay supplements and when I gave birth I didn’t have enough milk to support my baby and I don’t want him to starve. Even at this point I feel disappointed to myself that I can’t do anything about it anymore, I guess nature didn’t allow me this time after having a healthy pregnancy. I also took Fenugreek (in Healthy Options for PHP 700+) and Mommy’s Milk Tea but still I didn’t have enough milk. To be continued. I’d like to post my story in another blog post.
Wilkins Distilled Water I trust this the most, because it says in their packaging “Moms trusted brand” so there.
Pampers Dry diapers Hey, we tried EQ Dry but it failed on us because it always leaks on the sides of my baby bum/legs resulting in a furious cry when he feels wet from behind! We also tried Huggies, I loved it at first but it leaked as well!!! So we tried Pampers and Drypers, they are both pricey, if you have extra budget for diapers, the brand Drypers is the best one for me, it’s a bit pricey than Pampers but I’m sold to Pampers from now. It’s dry and we even tested one wet diaper to a dry tissue and there’s no mark of my baby’s pee! Magiiiiic!
Wipes! Any brand will do. (For us)
Cetaphil Cleanser and Cetaphil Shampoo and Cleanser I use both for bathing Jake, but the Cetaphil Cleanser is the most used one because we all use it for our face, haha! Tipid! #momhack It’s best for all skin types, baby has sensitive skin, I have combo type, boyfie has oily and mom has I don’t know maybe she wants to moisturize her face that’s why. Meh. Cetaphil is a pricey product so instead of buying a separate one for us, we buy the big ones so that we can save.
Cycles Ever told to try Perla for your baby’s clothes?? I was told to switch to Perla or Human Nature Mild Detergent Powder, but it just has too many cons for me!
1. I do the laundry twice a week and Jake’s clothes and lampins are too much for me to use Perla bar, (you have no idea how much clothes and lampins I wash, it’s exhausting) also as much as I want to use Human Nature, 2. There’s no stock in supermarkets, no items, the thing has to be ordered online (I am not the type of person who orders online, I am not a millenial, I am a 90’s born.) 3. It’s tiring to use bar detergents, that’s it. It dries your skin. Anyway, Cycles Mild Detergent is a bit pricey (PHP 272.00) but it works fine for me and baby’s skin. It can even last for 4 months!!!
Jake had some rashes before, but I doubt it was caused by this product. When we changed his milk and soap for bathing I noticed the rashes came off, so I decided to stick with Cycles. It didn’t let me down in one scoop, good for one load.
So there, that’s it for now, how about you, what’s your mommy essentials?
