“Yeah…” he began looking around the training room at that comment. “Honestly, I’m asking myself why the Hell I said yes in the first place back then. But…I think I talked myself into it ‘cause I couldn’t go home looking like that and…I wanted to feel…important.”
He sighed as he met Sue’s eyes and smiled.
“Yeah I’ll go grab Reed. Think he needs to eat something other than just downing coffee.”
“You weren’t yourself,” She replied. In more ways than one.
“He does,” Sue agreed and stood up slowly. “I’ll meet you back here in a few.”
