Morbid Angel, 1989.
Morbid Angel were one of the early pioneers of death metal. massively influential both for their style and playing ability, they are undoubtedly legends of the style. ‘Altars Of Madness’ is one of the greatest DM albums of all time.
1994. Blasphemy Made Flesh
is the debut album by band Cryptopsy.
Cryptopsy was formed in 1988 by drummer Mike Atkin, guitarist Steve Thibault and vocalist Dan Greening (who would later take the name “Lord Worm” because he would dig up and ingest worms on stage) under the name “Necrosis”. John Todds later joined on bass.
this is a classic album with some of Cryptopsy’s best material. and is a must for any fan of great riffs, raw vocals, and a great rhymes section. Together they makes one of the best albums in the brutal death metal scene along with the follow-up None So Vile.

1992. World Without God
is the debut album by band Convulse.
Convulse is a Finnish death metal band from Nokia, Finland, active between 1988 and 1994 and again since 2012.
I recommend this album to every true death metal fan out there, for as it seems to us that just when all other paths have been walked, a gem reveals itself and demands our attention as a new and exciting discovery. Convulse is a band that certainly deserves more recognition in the scene, and I feel that as the internet propagates this album across the metal world, Convulse will receive their due recognition, for better or worse.

1992. The Ultimate Incantation
is the debut album by band Vader. It was released in November 16. The cover art was drawn by Dan Seagrave. The album was originally recorded at Sunlight Studios with Thomas Skogsberg, but neither the record label or Vader was pleased with the outcome and decided to use another studio because of technical issues. The new studio that they recorded at was Rhythm Studios in England with producer Paul Johnson.
Vader is one of the earliest death metal bands of note from behind the Iron Curtain, and one of Poland’s most enduring institutions along with Behemoth. Theirs is a story marked by perseverance, strife and the unrelenting will to succeed no matter what the odds. The band formed in Olsztyn, Poland in 1983 and is centered around vocalist and guitarist/founder Piotr ‘Peter’ Wiwczarek, although he debuted with them initially in the bass guitarist slot. Vader’s second demo tape “Morbid Reich” (from 1990) would sell in excess of 10.000 copies making it the most popular death metal demo of all time. It is the first album in the band’s classic first era where both Wiwczarek and Krzysztof ‘Doc’ Raczkowski (drums) were the focal point and main songwriters for the band’s output.
This is one of the deepest and most image provoking albums of all time. If you don’t know this album and you are a death metal fan, I feel sorry for you.
