“How can you be so sure? They’re from the same family!” Nate whined.
“Not exactly, Nate.”

“How can you be so sure? They’re from the same family!” Nate whined.
“Not exactly, Nate.”

Rose couldn’t help but smile as she walked back into her old cabin. She had lived there for most of her life until she turned twenty one and then she and Caiden had left and traveled the world. It was bitter sweet coming back home. It felt good. She hadn’t brought Sabrina in here yet but she would soon. The little dirty blonde haired girl would love it. She smiled as she sat down on the bunk that had once been her’s. She wasn’t sure whose it was now but she couldn’t help it, especially when she saw a familiar face walk in. “It’s just like old times, isn’t it, PJ?” She asked as her eyes studied her brother. He had aged well and he looked well too, if not troubled.More troubled than he was when she last saw him for her birthday in April. “All of us here together. It’s nice to come back home.”
Before he went to his tent to sort things out with Alaska, PJ decided to find a nice place to think. Think about what he was gonna say to his on again off again girlfriend and think about how to avoid being off again after that. He really, really wanted it to work. He just didn’t know how. The cabin was where he ended up going. He didn’t even realize he was heading there until he was there. He knew that no doubt someone new was sleeping in his bunk but the cabin itself is what would help. It was his first proper home. And it was like he had never left. Especially the blonde that he saw sitting on her old bunk when he walked in.
Roselyn had barely changed at all too. At least since he’d last seen her which, now that he thought about it, hadn’t been that long ago. He moved to sit next to her and let out a short, soft laugh, “All we’re missing is a stray cat,” He joked.
“Yes, I’m pregnant, and if you value that hand- you won’t touch my bump.”
“I wasn’t going to,” PJ replied, holding his hands up in innocence.

PJ knew he had to fix this. He was “off again” with Alaska once more and they were sharing a tent for the time they were staying. It was apparently Nate’s arrangement despite them being off again but he had a feeling that was exactly why his best friend did it. He really did have to fix this. He knew that he couldn’t live without her. The idea of it alone broke his heart a little. So he had to fix it. And he knew eventually he would have to fix it for good.
Walking into the tent, he found her looking through her bag. He knew she’d heard him coming in and so he knew that he was being ignored. He walked over to her, staying a meter or so away for a second before taking a deep breath and saying, “Al, we need to talk about this.”
“It’s a simple suit, nothing fancy. You must’ve seen me in one before,” he chuckled.
“I think the last time was umm... Vegas right?”
“At least I had a reason to kick your seat. You deserved it. Peej did nothing wrong.”
“Yeah, your reason is being a fucking child,” PJ replied, “Chiron probably wouldn’t even let the damn thing into camp, Nate.”
“Don’t you know me? Just because you’re PMSing doesn’t mean you had to ruin his 4th of July.”
“Oh excuse me Mr. Kick-My-Seat-All-The-Way-Over, which one of us is PMSing?”
“Shame I couldn’t bring Peej with me. He would love to spit in all your faces.”
“Are you gonna complain about this the whole time we’re here?”
“Come on, you can do better than that.”
“It’s not like we could help prevent the prank.’
“But nobody deserves that, Aurelie.”
“Will I get a hug?”
“I suppose I could make an exception to my no hugging rule,” He teased.
“I’m happy that you’re happy,” she said with a big grin.
“Thanks I guess,” PJ mumbled.
“At least ladies seem to like it.”
“Which ladies, Gus?”
“Thanks again, Peej. I just feel really guilty about burdening you with this stuff.”
“Isn’t that what dating is supposed to be? Your problems are my problems and vice versa. We’re supposed to help each other. Or is that not right?”
“I liked the first outfit if I’m being honest.”
Aurelie sighed and shrugged her shoulders. ‘This feeling isn’t really new.’
“Yeah but this sick April Fool’s prank didn’t make it any better.”
“Don’t be lame, bro.”
PJ laughed, “Says the one dancing like an idiot.”
