This weekend I was told two gigs in a row by strangers that I was a joy to stand next to because I ✨bring an energy✨and it was so nice! I'm glad I could bring someone joy, and I'd like to remind everyone that your body feels a lot better after a gig if you remember to lift your feet of the ground at least a little bit. Dancing is free ❤️

My boyfriend said he's so glad I like his new favorite song too, so he doesn't have to be hyped up all alone. As if it isn't ENTIRELY my pleasure?? To see his face light up when that one song starts playing, when we sing along to it together, to quote it out of context or interrupt other conversations to muse over lyrics? When he dances in the kitchen and I get to dance with him???!

Wore my lucky Alkaline Trio shirt to a small punk show hoping for a high five from a fellow audience member at best, instead I walked past the singer after the gig, he did a double take and told me "Hey, I used to have that same shirt!!" so we had a little chat 😭 Then he asked if me and my boyfriend wanted a picture with him, it was great 🖤

I have some vinyl records that sound a little crappy and I love them but they're kinda low quality. Some people say that color vinyl tends to compromise sound quality for example. But I have to say my Over the Garden Wall soundtrack just sounds really good, even in Jason Funderberker green.
