the older i get the more i realize how unimportant it is to tell people my business
I-I'm sorry but I can't stop thinking about this
My roommate just called from the kitchen to ask what was wrong because I laughed so hard I gave myself a coughing fit.
I'm so glad the music is what I thought it'd be.

Another item scratched off the bucket list! Went hiking out in the Pacific Northwest. I flew in to Vancouver and arrived at noon. Picked up my rental car; was pleasantly surprised due to the free upgrade to a Dodge Charger. (Yay to responsible spirited driving on mountain roads!) Drove right back across the border to the USA, made a quick stop to buy snacks and essentials before heading out on the hike. The drive was great!
The hike on the first day was beautiful despite the pouring rain. Didn’t quite get satisfied with how much shooting time I got as everything was getting soaked within a matter of seconds, so I slept in the car in a gas station in the tiny town.
I set off hiking again at around 5am of the next day as I wanted to be there before the sunrise at 7:30am. The second day was absolutely perfect. Hiked the Chain Lakes trail and I’ll let the photos speak for themselves; basically it was absolutely breathtaking, surreal, and the scenes were otherworldly. I was hiking / shooting all the way to around 11am and then I had to turn around and head back to the start of the trail where my car was as I had to drive back to Vancouver to meet up with my mom who was flying in.
It was an experience to remember and cherish and I look forward to heading back up there. More photos to come as I process them! (That includes the scenes from Vancouver!)

I was almost at the end when I realized it might have sound. *chefs kiss*
So, I'm a bartender at a good ol' fashioned pub in England - the type that's predominantly frequented by middle-aged retirees with beer-bellies who come to escape their wives for a few hours and watch the football.
And there's this one group who're there almost every few days - all rowdy old lads in their 60s. They spend most of their time sloshing their beers and jokily insulting each other and roaring at the footie.
Except that, whenever any one of them leaves, that person goes around and gives a tender forehead kiss to each of the others before they go? At first I thought they were doing it as a joke but I soon realised that they all do this, every single time. It's genuinely just a gentle and sincere show of affection and i don't know what to do with this information
Reblog to give a tender forehead kiss to all your rowdy old mutuals.
The CDC Director is really out here straight up promoting eugenics.
“Good news everyone! Only the disabled and chronically ill are dying so that’s REALLY ENCOURAGING. No need to change a thing. Let ‘er rip!”
CDC Diretor be like
[ID: Headline that reads “Would Anyone Notice If We Started Endorsing Eugenics?”]
For all y’all going ?!? I need you to know this is not an exaggeration.
The CDC director says fuck disabled and chronically ill lives. I’m also going to point out that you’re significantly more likely to be disabled if you are Native American or Black so this is also racist. The CDC out here officially cheering our deaths is just the perfect way to start 2022.
[ID: A series of four screen grabs of Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the CDC Director, speaking on TV. The subtitles read “The overwhelming number of deaths, over 75%, occurred in people who had at least four comorbidities. So really these are people who were unwell to begin with and yes, really encouraging news in the context of Omicrom.”]
What makes this worse is that something like half the people living in this country have some kind of comorbid or pre-existing condition. And the CDC knows that perfectly well.
So while it IS good news that Omicron is apparently less deadly than previous mutations, it is NOT in any way acceptable for the CDC or the press to throw literal millions of people under the COVID bus and just shrug it off like, "Welp, they were sick anyway."
For SHAME.
i would die for grinch.
I’ve probably shared this before, but..
