I was reminded about the shittiest part of my past these past weeks. It's funny though, how that can literally fuck over everything good in my present because everything I do, and everything I react to, it's lingering in the back of my head and it's taking over. And I know it's not fair for me to expect people to understand or even care, but holy shit I've never felt more alone in my entire life. I feel resentment all over. How everything I've been doing is a cry for help. But no one in my life could ever understand. They can't help. They shouldn't either. You never know what the word alone really means until you have felt this way.
Be alone. Eat alone, take yourself on dates, sleep alone. In the midst of this you will learn about yourself. You will grow, you will figure out what inspires you, you will curate your own dreams, your own beliefs, your own stunning clarity, and when you do meet the person who makes your cells dance, you will be sure of it, because you are sure of yourself.

“you deserve to be with someone better than me”
HAHAHHA thats the most bullshit excuse you can say to someone please don’t be that person. You ever thought about being that person instead of redirecting them to someone else?
Donald, I’m kind of in love with you
I expected full love from half-lovers.

Life lessons written by a 90 year old
1) Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will.
2) If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn’t be in it.
3) Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don’t save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
4) Frame every so-called disaster with these words, ‘In five years, will this matter?’
5) Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
6) All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
7) Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
8) If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back.
9) No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
10) The best is yet to come…
And my ass can’t even get a text back
I feel like I'm losing sight of what I really want
Are you in love?
No I’m in bed
Take care of yourself before anyone else.

“r u taken?” yes bitch taken for granted
Last week Jon Bellion gave us an acoustic version of “All Time Low” and today he drops off an acoustic “Human” rendition. Powerful stuff. Give it a listen above!
As simple as it sounds, I've honestly come to a realization that all I really want out of life, out of this lifetime that I've been given, is to be a good mother and to have a good and complete family. I feel like people in this age group shouldn't be worrying or thinking about things like this right now, but when you come from a broken family, you don't know what you're missing until you're at a park one random day like today and you see a beautiful family walking their dog and playing basketball with each other and realize you never had anything even close to that. But then you realize that's all you want for your future. And from here on out, everything I do will be working towards this one goal.
