I love how Bella uses Edward's vampirism for such mundane things. Yes, he squishes the spiders and she uses his skin as an ice pack, but I bet he also holds her soda bottle to keep it cool. Uses his acute sense of smell to tell her when her cupcakes are done baking. Similarly, he figured out when to pull the leftover lasagna out of the microwave so it's heated all the way through. He can tell her if a pair of jeans will fit her without Bella having to try them on in the store. And they never really talk about it or assign Edward these roles. He just touches the pan to let her know it's hot enough to be nonstick and holds up the couch so she can vacuum under it and tells her when Angela secretly wants to stay in, too, instead of the big city night they originally planned.

They're both so serious and so unserious about Edward's vampirism.
