       Anayna walked right past him without another word, making way into the place she’d once been so familiar with. Taking a deep breath, she turned on her heel to look at him. How did she tell him? Did she tell him to sit down and listen? Maybe she should just pull out the pregnancy test that now sat wrapped, at the bottom of the purse. Taking a deep breath, she quickly licked her lips before turning her head away from him. “Maybe you should sit.” Ananya said quickly before making way into the living room, only to take a seat on the couch. Her elbows rested on her knees, her head resting in her hands as it slowly shook. God, she didn’t know if she could do this. What would he say, how would he react? Especially now, after everything. She couldn’t wait when she blurted out, “I’m pregnant, Wy.” Her voice was rushed, louder than she anticipated in her hands, she wondered if it was even clear and audible. Lifting her head, tears welled in her eyes as she studied him. She was pregnant, they were having a baby. 

When she told him to sit, Wyatt knew that something was wrong. Despite the break up and the drama that went along with it, he liked to think that he knew Ananya fairly well. He knew when something was bothering her and by the way she was acting, whatever this was, it wasn’t good. Wyatt took a seat in his chair, opposite of where she was now sitting. With blue hues, he stared at her, waiting for what was about to come. When she finally spoke, he was not expecting those words that left her lips. Pregnant. A million questions began to run through his mind. Was it his? How far along? Was she keeping it? Despite everything that he was thinking, he could only imagine the thoughts running through her head. After a few moments of silence, Wyatt cleared his throat and nervously scratched at his beard. “Are um...” He paused and inhaled a deep breath. “Pregnant.” Wyatt spoke in a whisper, a sense of disbelief present in his tone. “Are you okay?” He finally managed to get out, because to him, how she felt was the most important thing at this moment.

A STARTER FOR @paulzwes​!!

       When the pink lines appeared it was like a cold bucket of ice water had been thrown down Ananya’s back. She knew something had been wrong, she thought maybe the flu or even foot poisoning, but this? She never imagined this. It wasn’t that she wasn’t overjoyed, she was, beyond so. But a baby? She wasn’t expecting a baby. Long days of what her mother would call ‘morning sickness’ and cravings like no other - and a missed period - Ananya had no choice but to go to the drug store and buy herself a few at home-pregnancy tests. If it came back negative, great, perfect. That’s what she wanted it to come back, but then they appeared and it was like her chest was fighting, her vision was closing in on itself. Unfortunately, it only meant one thing; she had to tell him. She had to tell him, her ex-boyfriend, the last person she slept with in what felt like… forever. That’s why she had no hesitation when it came to jumping in her car and making her way over, no phone-call. It wasn’t even a thought in her mind. Once packed, Ananya had quickly jumped from her car to make way to the door, only to knock as hard and loud as she could. “Open the door!” She called, banging. Once it was opened, the raven-haired woman took a step back to gawk at the other. “We need to the talk.” She muttered, her voice quiet in comparison to her previous shouting. The pregnancy test lay in the bottom of her purse, not forgotten, more like the very first thing on her mind.

The past few months had consisted of unimaginable chaos and confusion for Wyatt. Although he would never admit it to anyone, getting over Ananya, took longer than he had anticipated. The heartbreak had been mended through daily workouts, going to the shooting range, and of course, drinking with his Navy buddies. The numerous bottles of beers finally started to permanently numb the pain and he was moving on with his life. Wyatt had been home for a day since his most recent deployment and he was hoping for a relaxing evening. That plan shattered when he heard that voice. It was a voice he immediately recognized and after pushing himself up off the couch, he went to open the door. Wyatt stared at her with a look of confusion. Why was she here? That question was answered when he heard the dreaded statement of, “we need to talk.” He had heard that many times before and it never ended well. Wyatt took a step to the side and opened the door a bit wider, his one arm extending to the side. “Come on in.”

PLOTS BASED ON MY FAV ROMCOMS WITH A TWIST

NOTTING HILL:

muse A is a famous actor/actress who comes to a small town to film their latest movie. While walking the streets on their day off, they bump into muse B, who is a local who doesn’t keep tabs on celebrities and pop culture. Thinking muse A is your average person, muse B asks them on a date. Muse A, who has been craving some sort of normalcy agrees. They quickly fall in love over the few months, but with filming coming to an end what will muse A do? Especially if muse B finds out that muse A had been lying to them their entire relationship. 

THE PROPOSAL:

muse A is highly successful in their career, but is threatened to be fired due to an expired work visa because they are from a different country. Muse B has been the assistant to muse A for years. Muse B puts up with shit that the boss puts them through, because they are paying for the medical bills of their younger sibling who has cancer. In an attempt to stay in the country, muse A convinces muse B to marry them and they would help pay for a portion of those medical bills.

13 GOING ON 30:

muse A and muse B are childhood friends. Muse A is concerned about being popular and desperately wants to grow up, while muse B is the quiet, nerdy type who is secretly in love with muse A. On the thirteenth birthday of muse A, they two get into a fight which causes muse A to make a wish. That wish comes true and they are fast forwarded into the future to the age of thirty. Muse A realizes that their future self has a successful career, goes to parties every night, and has a ton of friends. The only problem is that muse A doesn’t recall this new life and is no longer close to muse B. Muse A searches for muse B, finding them and seeing that they are all grown up, successful in their own right, and also, engaged. With no memory of their new life, muse A seeks the help of muse B where they realize that muse A has been in love with muse B all along.

The Goonies [1985]

muse A has always been obsessed with pirates and treasure, so much in fact, that they are labeled an outcast to the world. muse B has always followed the rules of society and has never taken a day off of work. During a garage sale hosted by muse B, muse A happens to stop by and finds an old and real treasure map. However, the map was placed in the bin by accident. The father of muse B used to be a collector of historical objects and after his death, the map is the only thing muse B has left of their father. Refusing to sell the map, muse A convinces muse B to join them on this treasure hunt. That is when the adventure begins. 

Dirty Dancing [1987]

muse A is an entitled rich kid who has been living off their parents money. After almost getting arrested and blowing enough money to pay a years rent, their parents had enough. muse A is forced to spend the entire summer with their parents before having to work with their dad in the fall. During the boredom that comes with a beach house in a quiet town, muse A is given some excitement when they meet muse B, a small town kid going nowhere who works as a dance instructor at the country club. muse B enlists muse A to be their partner for a big competition. The two quickly fall in love and when the father of muse A finds out, he forbids the two from seeing each other. Now they must see each other in secret to prepare for the big competition.

Never Been Kissed [1999]

muse A is a young newspaper editor who desperately wants to become a reporter. However, due to their shy and awkward demeanor, they are often forgotten about. An undercover assignment is brought up which involves going back to high school. Since muse A is the youngest employee, they are chosen to return to the place that once haunted their dreams. At first, returning to high school is not an easy task. That is until they meet muse B who happens to be their English teacher. muse A and muse B start to fall for each other, but must keep their feelings a secret from one another. For muse B, they can’t share how they feel, because they believe that muse A is really in high school. Meanwhile, muse A can’t share how they feel, because they are writing an article on the crossing the line student-teacher relationship. 

Out of Sight [1998]

muse A was once the most successful bank robber and the most wanted in America. That was until they were caught and sent to prison. On the day muse A busts out of jail they meet muse B, who happens to be an upcoming FBI agent. There is an immediate connection between the two and they must risk everything to see if there’s more between them than just the law.

Another day had come and gone and as per usual, Scott found himself sitting at the local bar. It was late in the evening and most of his buddies had gone home, leaving him to drink by himself. Being alone never bothered Scott, in fact, he liked it. The ability to enjoy his signature coke and whiskey in silence was something he craved after a long day. Especially when that day had consisted of him exchanging weapons between another gang, he deserved a drink. 

With an empty glass in hand, he signaled to the bartender for another. As he did so, his attention cast towards the door as he noticed a young woman walk in. Scott didn’t recognize her face which made him immediately intrigued. When she sat down a few stools away, he grabbed his now filled glass and moved to sit beside her. “I need to let you in on a little secret.” He whispered in a mysterious tone of voice, his eyes locked on his glass.

Wanted Plots. pt. 1

muse a is a dangerous fugitive and muse b is send to hunt them down. Throughout the chase, muse b slowly finds out that what they’ve been led to believe about muse a is false. 

muse a by accident gets themselves and muse b, a random stranger, stuck in a haunted house. They will have to count on each other to get out. 

muse a has been trained by a former Jedi on how to use the force, however due to an accident they manage to short-circuit a merchant ship. They crash land onto an almost deserted planet. Yet nobody seems to know their involvement, muse b starts to figure it out, as they used to work for the Empire tracking Jedi’s down. 

muse a and muse b are Vampire Hunters, but with a really bad track-record. When they visit a city who are dealing with a terrifying threat, they are mistaken for colleagues who are actually good at their job. Extra: muse c is a rogue vampire who has returned to their home in order to rid the town they were born in of a gang of thirsty vampires. 

muse a is a demon who is taking a vacation away from hell, roaming the world looking for a bit of fun, they run into muse b who has strange powers. The more interest muse a takes in them, the more it becomes clear that the angels have created muse b for a purpose unknown to both of them. 

muse a is a great fan of the occult, roaming the misty streets of London in order to learn more about the arcain magics. One night they run into muse b who once ran with the highest circles of magic users, and now offers to teach muse a one or two things, taking them on a journey to escape the higher magic users that are still after muse b.
