As philly move from youth to adulthood, along with physical change their manifestation of grace and they way it effects their temperament changes as well. Younger philly tend to act more impulsively and can sometimes be shortsighted and even selfish. This starts to shift around age 16-20.

At the start of every new year philly like to celebrate with a feast and gathering. This is a fun occasion since the turnover to another year is exciting. However the late swell festival is a favorite for many. Philly dressing up in their long patterned garments and gathering together under the flower trees near the river to enjoy delicious food from vendors, play games and at the end of the night enjoy a firework display against the dark sky. This all takes place at the end of the warm season as a final joyful outing before the start of dim when young philly return to school and preparations for harvest and the cold winter are begun.

Ӽ and Ӽ are intimate for the first time while sitting in the front of a wagon at night down by the river. It’s very warm and special to both of them. Six months later Ӽ is there with them and things are much more tangled and different. It’s not long after this that something large happens everywhere that nobody predicted or understands but everyone could feel coming.

Some philly enjoy watching flying phaun so much they will create feeders to attract them to their denyards. These are simple and fun to make! Simply smear nut spread on a pinestone and then sprinkle it with coating of seed. These feeders can be hung from branches or eaves of dens to attract song phaun of all types and colors.

Nature Philly, or “Phaun” are living creatures who also inhabit and share the planet. Scholars are not sure what causes the fundamental differences between phaun and philly, be it a different balance/mix of grace, spirit or something else all together entirely. But as a whole philly try to maintain balance and respect phaun’s place on this planet. However some forms of phaun are more aggressive and invasive forcing philly to have to protect themselves and insulate their society from their kind as a last resort. The primary example of this type of relationship is shared with a type of phaun known as tearpaths who’s habits and mannerisms are very destructive to themselves and others, some say they are a very distant relative to houms.

In the game Pawbrick you represent yourself by creating a custom avatar. They can be the form of a philly, houm or even monster. Avatars can be dressed in many ways. You can unlock outfits and weapons by going on adventures, but some more aggressive players will do things like hoard, collect, binge or even steal in order to gain more than others oftentimes at the expense of the experience of other players, forcing them to fend in the same manner.

Forming ice is one of the first grace exercises philly learn in class. Not large amounts but small clusters on water drips. They view the effects of their concentration and projection through the lens of a giant bend glass.

Pawbrick is game crated by amateur historical archivalists/revivalists built using ancient technology emulation. Created using archaic and counterintuitive manipulation of radiants and elements combined using theories and off-the-record research gleamed by Professor Dally and pieced together and brought to the light of day together by the persistent questioning, prodding, badgering and sometimes hijinks of his students.

Using ancient houm terminology, Pawbrick is an “open source” “open world” “MMO” “videogame” where players use electrical force to power micro machines integrated into elaborate systems known as “computers” that create a simulation of imagination that many players can participate in at once. This is similar to dreem or projection except it is experienced second hand using primary physical senses. The rules of the world and simulation of forces and nature are predetermined by the game, those who have tried the construction say it’s like “playing a book or story.” It is becoming very popular among teenagers. The youth’s elders, Millstone, Gubernat, abd Prem are not sure where to classify the experience and it’s benefit or harm on youth is yet to be determined.

“From simple things like food and joy to powerful things like crystals and radiant elements, houms were hoarders by nature. Even going as far as to conjure radiance and channeling it into objects using spells, hexes and curses. It is said even their hexes went as far as to manifest their currency, homes and even their bonds.”

Moon Stones, or “luna stones” are exactly what they sound like, rocks said to have originated from the moon; though some say the moon originally came from the earth thousands of years ago. Some philly find the moon stones fascinating because they are exotic, but others say they are a sign of the cyclical nature of life. Regardless of the allure, the stones are regarded as useful because of their inherit energy and radiant properties. Without grace to detect this detail moon stones would be identical to any other stones and impossible to distinguish.

In his lectures Professor Dally speculated that due to their conscience overbalance outspeaking their grace, houms were “largely unaware of the properties of moon stones, perhaps overlooking their existence all together.” Which is usually met with a reaction of mixed surprise and disbelief from his younger students. New pupils will often raise their hands and ask if houms were “unaware of other radiants?” to which he would respond “We can only speculate, but extrapolating from what little historic record we have and archaeological discoveries we believe this is the case. However that didn’t stop houms from collecting and hoarding radiants; which is part of how we formed our hypothesis.” A statement also met with surprise and even skepticism from students knowing that by nature radiants cause great damage in concentrated amounts.
