Shooting inside a freight elevator usually means low-light problems, but the #HasselbladX1D seemed to manage it quite well. Last month I was fortunate enough to get my hands on the new #HasselbladX1D medium-format (MF) camera to test out - blog post coming soon. The process of MF over a DSLR (35mm) is a much slower one, but as you can clearly see the colours, skin tones, and sharpness (even at wide open) are unlike anything I've used before. Minor clean-up done on the skin and hair, but not much more. I've been experimenting with various lighting setups and modifiers, including a true Ring Flash. It's bulky and not very versatile, but the "halo" effect is awesome and perfect for a messy-hair model shot!
