My birthday was a few weeks ago and my mum's American friend got me 'Raising them Right' by Kyle Spencer (I've wanted to get it since Alexander Avila talked about in his Charlie Kirk documentary). From my understanding, it's basically an account of how Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens built their brand.

I started reading it a couple of days ago and then put it down almost immediately after being greeted by this absolute gem of a paragraph:

I read that and I had to:

I wanted her to adress Candace in public so bad! I can't believe she's now like "I never said you killed Charlie" while implying it for MONTHS to grind the gears of QAnon adjacent wine moms. Erika and her kids can be seriously put at risk for stuff like this. Charlie and her have already received death and kidnap threats to their children before!

I can't imagine being in her situation and have to micromanage every damn expression or outfit as people want to put malicious intent or conspiracies on everything. I have been in a situation like this while grieving and I can assure you, it's exhausting.

And I SO agree about the radicalization. I remember back in 2018 Charlie or even Jordan Peterson were accused of nazis and fascists for being like, literal open market conservatives who didn't use pronouns. I'm not surprised at how far the overton window has shifted now for both sides.
