A 21-year-old trans woman, Ciara Watkin, has been found guilty of sexual assault after a court heard she did not tell the man she was dating

Ciara Watkin’s conviction comes in the wake of a recent update to the Crown Prosecution Service’s “deception as to sex”, previously “deception as to gender”, guidance

This is what the demonization of trans women leads too. Trans women are seen as inherently ‘deceptive’ and ‘predatory’. The act of not telling someone they have sex with that they are trans will get them charged with sexual assault.

Cis people don’t have to tell you they are cis whenever they have sex. But trans people have too.

The cis man who is accused her of this is telling people that this ‘ruined his manhood’.
