Shipkids’ relationship to queerness is generally dependent on how close they are to shipkid communities, shipkids are their own Thing in the multiverse— they’re a kind of outcode, even if they’re shipkids from a fell soriel or smth. They’re already “outsiders” in their own AUs(if they have one, but even if they don’t that’s still an isolating experience yk), so being queer also adds a bit to that isolation I think, even if they have queer parents, I think it would still feel very lonely to feel like you don’t belong in your Whole World for being born and you’re also gay
