Mouths Are For More Than Talking - Antonin & Bella

Antonin had left Bella a pretty vague note, basically just saying to meet him at three in their usual spot. The two had been pretty good friends for a while now, and they had used to hang out in this little spot behind the trees that almost no one else ever went behind. It was the perfect place for a private conversation.

He wasn't quite sure what angle he would use yet. 'Rod is a really great guy, you should put out for him again' was a bit obvious and totally not Antonin's style. He knew he would find some way to subtly work it into the conversation, though. Even if he was completely improvising. He had to. Hooking the two up would mean both of them being grateful and in his debt, which was exactly where Antonin wanted them. Anyway, he'd already promised Rod his help, so he'd better not let himself screw this one up.

Hm. I don't think she's the type to go for that. Bella would probably just ignore you if you tried that on her. First Tie

It was given to him by his father when he was thirteen. He still remembers looking at it on him in the mirror and suddenly feeling like an adult, and a powerful one at that. It's been kept in perfect condition to this day and it's his first choice for when he needs an extra confidence boost.

Ivy pulled a green sweat over her small head looking into the mirror. She had done some wizard make-up and gotten rid of her bulging black eyes. The petite female walked towards the door, she strapped her wand to her jeans as she walked down the steps, unsure of what was ahead of her. The blonde walked to the library doors as she stood on the side of it, waiting for Antonin.

Ivy pulled her hair into a side braid while we waited. When he arrived she could lightly sense his aura, it was.. Bad. But he was a Slytherin, they commonly had this aura about them. She needed to not act too nice, that didn’t go well with them, “Hello.” the girl said having it rip of her tongue smoothly. She eyed him slightly coldly but that didn’t look good on her really.

Antonin knew when to be punctual and knew even better when to be late. Every action had power and sent a message, no matter how small, and when you showed up was a big one. With people you wanted to impress you were always early, with friends you were always just on time, and with people you wanted to intimidate you strolled in a few minutes late.

So that's what he did, slinking into the library corridor with his hands in his pockets at just past twelve. He caught sight of Ivy, looking very small and alone standing by herself in the dark corridor.

"Ivy," He said, letting just a little disdain seep into his voice. It was probably too subtle for this girl to catch, anyway. "So glad you came." He was a bit surprised, at any rate. The girl had come across as rather timid, and even now when she was obviously doing her best to come off as cool and in control she didn't seem entirely comfortable. Antonin let an easy smile come to his lips. This could be fun.

No problem. You know when I say it, I mean it. Proud to have you on the team. Now look over the rest of the packet and make sure you and pretty boy are ready for the game! And maybe we can all do something after the game. After our victory. I feel like celebrating. -smile- yeah. Let's do that. Okay, good talk!
