This blog is going on an indefinite hiatus.
Long story short, my interest in continuing to run it has unfortunately died down as a result of the game's sudden popularity, which overshadowed it and generally has been bringing me a lot of stress. As I've mentioned before, I'm very much not used to having such a large audience, so it's been greatly affecting my creativity.
I've been attempting to "take it easy" and give myself temporary breaks from working on the game or managing the blog, but seeing as that hasn't really helped reduce my stress, I think the best thing to do now is to just give the whole project a rest until better times.
I will no longer be working on the game (at least not as its main developer), responding to asks or posting comics here unless someday I feel I'm in a good enough state to resume the project's "official" run. Until then, the blog will stay up as an archive of sorts. I may occasionally reblog something very important or share updates on the game, whose development I'll be off-handing to a small team of talented fans.
You, the community, are free to continue creating EC art and designs and whatever else you put your talents to. I hope to have inspired people enough to keep the Cattoverse alive even when I'm unable to do so myself. Thank you all for the amazing journey, stay safe, be nice, and stay hydrated unless you're an alkali metal.
(I won't be stopping art altogether, of course - I'll continue creating various things, scientific or not, for as long as I live. You can get updates on whatever I do by following my main blog. Love you all, peace!)
