We are Phi Beta Chi: Pi Chapter at Texas State University in San Marcos Texas. We are a social sorority with christian values. Our philanthropy is the Bethesda Lutheran Communities, our colors are azure blue and white, and our mascot is a lamb. Our motto is "Amor Via Vitae in Christo: Love through life in christ"

Yesterday we had our mixer with LOA at spring loaded near new braunfels! We had an awesome time jumping on the trampolines and playing dodgeball. Definitely going to plan another trip there in the future! It was amazing!

Welcome to the 24th Annual I-Week Games!!!

Leading up to Big Little Reveal we spent the whole week playing games and doing different activities that were all Hunger Games Themed, because Jesus Volunteered as our Tribute!

The year was 1995, Flannel and scrunchies were considered hot, and everyone owned a Lisa Frank Backpack...or folder...or notebook... every girl wanted to be Brittany Spears, and had their teen beat N'Sync Posters all over their walls. It was a different era, a grungy era, an era that doesn't seem like it was too long ago, but apparently it was since PHI BETA CHI had their 90's THEMED CHAPTER PARTY!!!! 

Good job Alpha Alpha Class for putting on an AMAZING Chapter Party! You ladies did so great!!

PHI BETA CHI FORMAL 2014 - THEME: GREAT GATSBY!

We all had a fabulous time tonight at the Seekatz Opera House! We started out with dinner, chicken or fish, potatoes, green beans, and garlic cheese buscuits! We voted on "Mr. Gatsby" and "Daisy" for our "cutest couple" award, along with a "spiritual growth" award, and "best dressed" award. Then we had a photobooth upstairs, where everyone got to pose for the camera and use props. After that and some dancing we had the award ceremony where each girl was given a special award such as the "Sleeping Beauty" award, and the "Kodak Moment" award. After, we danced into the night.

...and they all lived happily ever after! :P

Tonight some of us went to see God's Not Dead. It wasn't an official sorority thing. Just something a lot of us have been wanting to see together! I honestly loved going out tonight, bc it's a reminder that these ladies and I aren't just members of the same group. We are sisters, we love each other and we enjoy each other and praise God together!

Today is Thursday, February 6. It is 32 degrees in San Marcos, and as I was driving to get some lunch I see this homeless person on the side of the road with his dog. I don't know why but I couldn't stop thinking about it. After I had my lunch I went to walmart and bought a family sized rotisserie chicken and took it to him. When I left I expected I would feel proud of myself for doing a good deed, but instead I felt humbled, bc I realized that meal will probably mean more to them than any meal I ever get. Count your blessings, and be thankful for what you have, because what to you is just routine may mean another day of life for someone else.

I personally feel so blessed to be attending texas state! I am a transfer student and my first three years of college were nothing compared to the life I have now. I go to an amazing school, with a beautiful campus, so many awesome extracurriculars, and my sisters who I am thankful for each and every day!
