Best selling gaming steering wheel of 2016 - the new version of G27, PC compatible. They released two models, this and G29, but as we're focusing on PC steering wheels, then G920 is the choice here, but be sure to check the game compatibility for it, if you're gonna play something particular. From popular titles, it is a very good steering wheel for Project Cars, and works well with Forza Motorsport 6 on Xbox One. Also, don't get too discouraged by some bad reviews and check when they've been written, cause there were some issues with G920 when it just came out, that have already been solved by latest firmware. One more thing, people were angry about, was the lack of shifter, but as there are some good discounts by now, you can save those extra $50 for this purpose.

Thrustmaster is another big player when it comes to gaming steering wheels, along with Logitech, and T300RS is my personal favourite. It feels more realistic, very smooth, including the smoothness of the Force Feedback. Well, yeah, it's still one of the best PC steering wheels on the market and I would get smashed with tomatos by excluding it from the top 5. The trick about this one would get lucky with some crazy discount offer or take it used cheap, otherwise I would recommend the G920.

Most important thing is 144Hz and 1ms response time. There is a popular opinion that human's eye can't take more than 60 fps (frames per second), but everyone who knows difference between 60 fps and 125 fps in First Person Shooters are welcome to slap that guy in the back of his head. Maybe it will make his eyeballs pop out a bit and see the difference too.

Second thing is the size of your monitor. Usually competitions in pro gaming scene use 24 inch screens, but it doesn't mean you can't go 27 or even 34 inch, if you want to really dive in to the other side. That size is also awesome for racing games and single player games with a beautiful scenery. But when it comes to e-sport I, myself don't feel too comfy on monitor that big, cause it makes me lean more backwards and it can force you to different mouse grip or just feel out of focus. So, if you're crazy about winning competitive gaming, 27" might be a bit too large and mind that 24" will come cheaper. It can even save you a few hundred bucks.

How about League of Legends and Dota 2?

144Hz might not be that important for games like League of Legends and Dota 2, 120Hz would be enough, but neverthless, when you will go 144Hz, it will be below you to go back to like 60. It just stops fu*ing your brain that you can use on a gameplay otherwise. Also a higher resolution will make you able to zoom out and see more.
