( godfrey gao, he/him, 30 ) - there goes SPENCER LIU again, walking down main street. they might be headed to go to their job as a PSYCHIC or maybe just to do some GARDENING. i’m not going to ask, i’ve heard they can be very SECRETIVE & RECLUSIVE, though i’ve heard some people say they’re actually COMPASSIONATE & GENEROUS. then again, they are an OUTSIDER of prosperity so who can say?

spencer is the son of a billionaire and an internationally recognized philanthropist and there was no point in his childhood he didn’t feel loved or cared for by his parents.
he was always extremely sensitive to other people, animals, and his surroundings and that didn’t disappear as he got older.
he graduated high school and went to college for business to take over after his father, but when his parents passed away in a car accident he realized he wasn’t being himself by taking on the company and sold it.
he’s insanely wealthy now but decided to pick a random place on the map and settle down where nobody knows him.
he owns an eclectic little shop that sells everything from flowers and succulents to teacups and crystals and potions. most people visit the shop to have an appointment with him, though.
the community hasn’t been extremely welcoming of him because he doesn’t fit the “typical southern small town” society, but he’s active in the community and spends a lot of time volunteering.
despite that, when he wants to be alone he will disappear. he is an introvert and people suck the energy from him whether they mean to or not. he just shuts down sometimes.
he still runs a national charity for orphans and foster children on the side and will take the occasional trip to get more supporters or help with an event.
he never pushes his own beliefs down others’ throats. unless someone comes to him asking for something, he never talks about his ‘gift’. he’s a pretty normal guy.
the idea behind this character was to see how a misfit in one universe could be powerful and welcomed in another.

he’s a very intelligent man in addition to his ‘supernatural’ perception.
he has a cat named roxi and she’s the greatest asshole to walk the earth but he’d probably die for her.
he is pansexual and believes in falling in love with the soul (but sex is good too)
