- ED/pro ana/thinspo blogs and/or fatphobic of any kind. doesnt matter if youre pro recovery, youll get reported

- Self harm/suicide blogs, especially "aesthetic" ones. yes this includes vent blogs with self harm or anyone who encourages self harm/suicide. youll get reported

- Don't start discourse here, this blog is meant for folk to relate to and to feel safe not to start stuff cus someone has a different opinion than you (unless said opinion is harmful rhetoric against a minority/group of people or against a specific person but youll immedialty be blocked if you try spreading gross shit in the first place)

- Also if youre into syscource i'd like to keep that off the blog as well since this isn't the space for that, all systems are welcomed btw!!! yes this includes endo/non traumagenic systems

Hey folks! I know this isnt an update evryone wants, but this is really important as it's closely related to personal stuff about us.

So, Mod Sunny (aka @fractalfangs / the spiral system) is going through alot of financial trouble. Recently due to leaving an abusive relationship and moving back home, they had to drop out of college for awhile, but now they're having to pay back a whole lot of money, seen in this email they sent us

SZPD: loners & content to just chill in the same room as you for "socializing"

STPD: odd behavior

ASPD: easily annoyed

BPD: mood swings

HPD: needs attention 24/7

NPD: obviously superior

AVPD: skittish & anxious

DPD: "don't ever go away overnight ever again!"

OCPD: rigidity & stubbornness

ok venting aside, announcement time again. as a surprise to no one, this blog is going on an indefinite hiatus. us mods cannot handle it anymore while also juggling work, school, mental illnesses, etc. it's gotten too stressful for us. we aren't deleting the blog but we aren't sure when we'll be back. we'll come back when we feel like it. asks will stay off and we probably won't check this blog anymore. sorry everyone. we want to keep posting for people but the bad side of this community is wearing us down, we're tired of suicide, self harm, ed, and gore blogs constantly interacting with our posts, and people have been rude and weird to us a lot. so bye for now

yeah mod ender again for the last time (for rn) we're personally struggling with our mental health and physical health going off the shits and we're off insurance rn so csre for us is basically nonexistant. We also work basically an almost 9 - 5 job as well as being a college student, and mod sunny's dealing with their own personal business (Im not gonna disclose for them cus i dont think they'd feel comfortable having that out there, but im fine with people knowinf abt us lol) and just. Theres alot of random bumlshit, random drama, all that. Honestly I didn't think we'd get over 300 ppl following us and so many people going onto this blog everyday, and it oddly feels nice that for the short time we were here, we were able to have people be head abt their issues. But rn, we cant keep up with this and its time for us to take a break. Be safe yall

hey, it's mod ender, and as /lh as I can be, we've been getting a lot of freaks and gross people and such in our inbox and people treating this blog as a competition or personal venting outlet again. Im sorry we are not your therapists and are not equipped with the skills to help.

and tbh seems like everyone's trying to one up eachother on how worse they are than everyone else and its mostly been ppl who are just. being gross in our inbox expecting us to post just for shock value/negative attention, unrelated to personality disorders as well.

We're making the decision to close the inbox for a while. maybe a few days or a few weeks at most. it"s getting out of hand, and we'll probably find a way to rewrite our rules on submitting asks and such. I'm so sorry about this guys. its getting too much and its not what we wanted this blog to be.

autism + pd culture is joining new online communities with the expectation that someone will just magically notice how special you are and take you under their wing to teach you all the secret rules on how the community works and how to act in a way to avoid ostracization, so that they can get a kickback for being the one to do so when you inevitably become a valuable and well-respected member of the community

hey. ok. this is nothing against you anon i promise but im gonna use this as an example. im begging you guys to not do this. our blog isnt about autism. our blog is about pd culture. this has nothing to do with pd culture /lh im begging you guys to stop sending us overly specific asks that have nothing to do with pds. no, you cant just send us something unrelated and put "pd culture" in front of it to make it related to pds. it doesnt work like that. at this point we're going to stop answering asks like this. send this stuff to an autism culture blog if you really want to or just make your own post! you dont need to send these types of asks to us. im also deleting the other most recent ask that we already posted for the same reason

edit: before anyone gets confused this is NOT saying you cant send asks related to non pd issues, the reason i said all this wasnt because of that. pds are very commonly comorbid with other issues. just please try to keep the majority of asks about pds. dont send us an ask thats primarily about something else (in this case autism) and just put "pd culture" on it so we'll post it. it wont get posted. please keep your asks about pds. you can still include another non pd disorder/mental illness/etc as long as your ask is still mostly about a pd. ok? ok

BPD culture is being so depressed and anxious that you cannot get a job and people call you "lazy" or a "leech", while you are actually extremely hard-working, committed, overachiever and were top of your class.

You simply cannot brush your teeth sometimes, let alone try to find a job.

pd culture is someone telling you "your mental illness isn't your entire personality." whilst you have one or more pds.

szpd culture is emotionally stubbing your toe so many times that eventually you just decide to get rid of the toe to stop it from getting stubbed to begin with. regrettably you are now one toe down and the general public considers you abnormal for this.

avpd culture is relating to people with aspd a surprising amount and feeling like you'd have displayed several of those antisocial symptoms if you just had the balls to act out whatsoever. like the thought process/worldview is similar but then extreme anxiety (and also weirdly high empathy sometimes?) comes in to block that from translating into actions. *shakes my brain* what's going on in there

i know i have npd but i was wondering is it a normal npd thing to get super annoyed when ppl vent??? like just get super angry at the person and want them to shut up

umm. maybe? im not entirely sure, that could be for a number of reasons other than npd but you could probably assume its because of that yeah. id say regardless thats not like, a bad thing as long as youre not taking your anger out on others who dont deserve it, i get mad/irritated over people venting to me for multiple reasons but i tend to try not letting that get to me especially if the other person is clearly suffering. but "normal" is kind of an iffy word to use in terms of mental illnesses and disorders. there isnt a "normal", theres common and uncommon symtoms/experiences i guess but im not a therapist or psychiatrist or super knowledgeable on npd anyway so i cant exactly say if thats "normal" or common for pwnpd. neither mods here have npd lol, sorry if this wasnt super helpful
