#oh i saw the clip of his new drama being called his first romcom and immediately thought of this #i found it on the official mbc yt channel and watched a bit #i was surprised at how much easier it was to watch almost an entire episode #compared to how hard it is for me to start new dramas 😩#also seeing uhm jiwon and jo hansun gave me nostalgia for their ftl arc in the woman who married 3 times #the woman who still wants to marry #kdrama

I started watching Siren Kiss because I saw a clip on twitter (the only way I'll watch a new drama these days apparently) and it's way too glossy for me 😭 But I'll still finish the episode.

TV I've tried and failed to watch recently(ish...) because I couldn't get into it:

* Sucession (I watched an entire season smh)

* Westworld (same as above)

* That one where the guy was some tech bro who had a wife and she was like a house prisoner and she escaped and they went to court idk (HBO canceled it so I only watched like 2 episodes)

* Industry (2 episodes)

* Heated Rivalry (1st ep and then like 5 minutes of the 2nd)

* The Great (watched s1 and part of s2)

TV I did manage to watch for more than one season:

* The Expanse (10/10)

* Foundation (ongoing)

I also watched a bunch of psychological thrillers (domestic thrillers? idk what to call them), limited series, Tony Collette dramas, Nicole Kidman dramas etc.

#I'm always saying i cannot watch stuff only because of fomo #and then i do smh #i think foundation is the only one where it matched the hype to ME #currently watching

So this year I want to

Read 36 books (my entire tbr)

Watch 60 movies (already halfway through that goal, almost)

Watch 15 dramas

I already feel I should lower my drama goal because it's February and I'm only watching First Man. I did start watching Call It Love, (which I'd forgotten until just now), and also dropped Story of a Man (which I had in my watchlist since like 2010, and had been watching on and off since idk June? I couldn't get into it) Anyway, the thing is I also want to write and improve the way I draw, but I won't be able to if I keep watching and reading that much stuff...

I'm currently re-reading Wuthering Heights, and I did want to watch the movie even though I know I probably won't enjoy it, I like watching movies even when they suck. But then I thought I should stop treating certain movies like pending homework... Plus rewatching old favs has made me happy this year.

I've never drawn Brandy's Cinderella before and thought it was time to cross that off the list. I so appreciate this adaptation for having a Filipino prince, what a dream! And Brandy's so angelic and perfect in this role.

I started reading a novel for the first time in years and at first it was like the words were not reaching my brain (it's in Spanish)... I feel I'm getting more stupid with age
