this may be the gayest scene in the series so far i mean the whole “i think about you all the time” then trying to cover it up with “uhhh i mean our summer adventures and our other friends lol” and then moomintroll’s hopeful “yES…?” like it really sounds like he was hoping for a confession or an invitation to travel with him or something 🥺 and their themes playing together when mamma and pappa rescue them!! and snufkin having to hold onto mamma, effectively hugging her!!!!! i love iiiit
