See the thing about God being everywhere is that he's constantly waiting for you. And the thing about grace is that it doesn't just wash away the things you've done wrong, it washes away the shame, if you'll let go of it. So don't feel like you have to wait until you've figured out what to do about church, or until you've "made it right" again, or become a better person. He ate with tax collectors before asking them to change their ways. He washed Judas's feet, knowing betrayal was coming. He can work with the small things. Faith the size of a mustard seed, you know?

When you call "influencers" what they are, freelance marketers, it makes the phrase "mommy/family influencer" sound just as dark as it is in reality.

They are using their children to sell you things. Some of these people intentionally have children solely in order to use them as marketing devices.

They aren't harmless or wholesome. They are expanding and normalizing new and different forms of familial abuse to a worldwide audience

if you avoid children, despise children, and want nothing to do with children I simply don't trust you.

Your personal issues and/or beef with your parents does not exclude you from the basic responsibility of being civil and kind to the people around you, no matter how small.

I'm definitely going to be taking a break from that friendship.

I have wanted to sit on a jury for basically my entire adult life because I'm just really curious about the process but EVERY TIME Ive gotten a summons it's fallen through.

-Summons from my home state like 6 months after I changed my address and was living in a new state

-Summons from the new state, but they didn't call me in even though I was literally working directly across the street from the courthouse.

-Summons from my home state 2 years later to my maiden name (while I was living in a seperate, new state)

maybe I'll have better luck living here

God is good and He doesn’t change. Which is good because sometimes I have the emotional control of a ferret and often my emotions get ahead of me. Good to have a God that will be patient with me and stable as bedrock.
