through the above instagram post made by esquire, it has been revealed that the organization created in jonghyun’s name, 재단법인빛이나, was launched yesterday (september 6th) through a small foundation ceremony headed by jonghyun’s mother, lee eun kyung. going by the english name of shiny foundation, lee eun kyung revealed in her speech at the foundation opening that she hopes the foundation will not only touch upon young artists going through similar to what jonghyun did, but that she plans to help out young artists who are going through difficulties in general. she also stated that, though it still hurts for her when she hears jonghyun’s voice playing somewhere, she is thankful that there are still many who enjoy and share his music. further, she revealed that the she will be undertaking on a scholarship project together with art high schools where the main objective is to establish a psychological counseling center for young artists who are forced to go about hiding both their smaller and larger struggles during their public activities. it was also revealed that there will be a music and art festival held every december in honor of jonghyun. “though kim jonghyun has left this world, his music has still remained. shiny organization will be operated based on the royalties of the music left by kim jonghyun. we still remember the shining kim jonghyun, who will always shine bright.” - esquire below is the official logo for the foundation, and you can find a direct link to the official youtube channel here.

SEULGE’S FIRST KPOP ALBUM GIVEAWAY!!!

hello everyone! i have remade my personal blog a couple of times in the past and the last time it happened was in march 2016 and well, i am pretty satisfied with the results this time. overall, i’ve been using tumblr since 2012. that’s a long time ago, man. and i thought i’d celebrate my patience and resilience with being on this website with a little special something. despite my not-so-happy tone lmao, i am still pretty cool with being around here. i’ve met and seen plenty of nice kpop fans and well, tumblr seriously has been a huge part of my life, alongside with kpop.

being a kpop fan since 2010 and being broke at the same time was not the best combo, as i could never afford anything. but last year i got my first full-time job, i started working diligently and my parents always allowed me to keep all the money i earned. so of course i’ve used this wonderful opportunity to grow my kpop collection and enjoy supporting my fave idols. but i know not everyone can do that. you’re either too young to work, you’re either caught in studies and got no time for a job as well or you simply need to use the money for much more important things like bills and food. trust me, i know how that feels.

this is why i decided to host a giveaway, instead of a follow forever — which i should do too — just to show a little appreciation for my mutuals. but the main focus is the giveaway and it’s dedicated to all my followers who stuck around with this blog (and maybe some of you even know me from my previous blogs!).
