The deck of the Princess Andromeda was never truly quiet, Luke is always barking orders to everyone; he watched monsters recoil at the sound of his voice or the entire crew straightening when he stepped onto the deck.
He's not a man accustomed to kneeling and he is not a man who is softened by anyoneās presence.
Except for her.
The contradiction isnāt lost on himā the captain of the Princess Andromeda, feared and followed, sitting back against the bed with the weight of her settled against him. One of the legs is draped across his thigh, denim warm beneath his palm, angled just enough that she presses into him with lazy intimacy. She fits there as if the space had always been meant for her, as if his body had been designed to accommodate hers.
He doesn't move you away because he would never do it.
There is the heat of her presence, the way she looks down at him as if she has always known exactly where he would end up.
The lantern light caught in her hair, in the smooth skin... He thinks a lot about herā beautiful with nothing fragile about her presence and commanding without effort.
The perfect woman for him.
His hand rests on your thigh, broad and steady, thumb pressing absent arcs as his eyes look at your face. Heās aware, distantly, that this is how his crew would lose their minds if they ever saw it. Their captain allowing someone this close. Their unyielding leader letting a woman sit in his lap like she owns the place.
Well, the truth is worse.
This woman owns him.
Luke tilts his head slightly, his gaze tracing the curve of your leg where it rests against him, the softness of it undoing him more thoroughly than any blade ever could. He shifts pulling you against the matress, just enough to free one knee, and then deliberately slides both of you to the edge of the bed.
He kneels before you even though you're already touching his hair as if saying he doesnāt have to really do this.
The movement is unhurried. Your leg remains draped close, now higher against his shoulder. Lukeās hands follow, one settling at your ankle, the other bracing lightly at the calf, reverent as if heās handling something sacred.
And maybe he is. After all you are his goddess.
He bows his head and presses a kiss to your legā lingering and devotional.
Luke Castellan does not kneel easily to anyone but, for you, it isn't surrender! He has convinced himself this is more like alignmentā maybe he's stepping into a role he was always meant to fill.
You tilt your head, amused and pleased.
āOh, Luke,ā you say lightly, knowingly. āArenāt you such a good boy?ā
The words don't diminish him. They crown him.
You know the man between your legs loves it.
Luke exhales through his nose, something like a smile pulling at his mouth as he lifts his gaze to you, eyes dark and utterly unashamed. There is no contradiction hereā not between the captain and the man kneeling. For anyone else, he would bare his teeth. For you, he bares his throat.
āFor you,ā he says, voice low and unwavering, āI am.ā
Luke remains where he is, kneeling, gaze lifted. The bed dips with youā the captainās bed, the place where he plans and commands.
Your foot brushes lightly against his shoulder blade, a guiding touch rather than an order, and when you push back against the edge of the mattress, itās with the certainty that screams you know you'll be followed. One hand rests on the bed, the other extends towards him, fingers curling in a beckoning motion.
He doesnāt even hesitate.
The man rises enough to follow the line you draw, settling closer, his knees finding the edge of the bed as you guide him in. That same hand comes to his shoulder, easing him forward until his position mirrors his attentionā focused entirely on her goddess.
āGood,ā you murmur, pleased.
Lukeās hands rest on your thighs, so broad and warm, his thumbs still, as if waiting for permission even when none is explicitly given. He looks at you like he looks at nothing else.
You tip his chin upward again to remind him whoās guiding at the moment. When you lean in, itās achingly slow and Luke meets you halfway.
His kiss is slow, reverent to a fault. Heās honoring the privilege of being the one kissing you rather than indulging in it. He lingers there, his mouth against yours, and when he pulls back, itās only far enough to press another kissā to the jaw, cheek and corner of your mouth.
He loves giving you everything he has to offer and loves even more when you gift him pleased sounds.

WALLY WEST
Wally West the man you are. Best friend husband number two.
Because of his powers, he's constantly moving.
The poor guy cannot sit still to save his life.
He's up and running and then sitting and then getting up and getting you something and then sitting and his leg is bouncing and he's running his hands through his hair again because he literally cannot sit still.
It's something that you've grown to get used to, the tapping and the pulling. That's why you keep a bunch of fidget toys on you for him to play with.
Wally is also really forgetful but he always remembers to keep a hair tie on his wrist for you. Even if your hair is short, he keeps it there. He's kept it there for so long it feels strange when he isn't holding onto it. Being the fastest guy ever, you would expect him to show up early on your dates, or even on time.
But no Wally is almost always late to meet with you.
And he always makes it up to you by bringing you flowers before them - or if you're not a huge fan of flowers - he'll bring you snacks to keep you happy.
He'll show up with a sheepish grin and a mumbled apology, explaining how he got caught up at work and lost track of the time.
Because Wally is so damn fast, when he's running around at home, he typically gets carpet burn against his feet.
Because of this you've had to make sure that your flooring is tiles - which comes with its own set of problems.
Like when you've just mopped and he zips past, only to slip and hit his head on something.
You've contemplated getting a wet floor sign to use around the house more than once.
Wally is also the biggest gossip you've ever met.
He has no problem discussing confidential work related things with you.
Because duh you're his spouse, the law doesn't count when you're married.
So he'll sit you down and squeeze whatever stress toy he's got in his hands and talk about whatever highly confidential case he's been working on that day.
Since he is also a mechanic and works on cars sometimes he'll service your car for you, check things, replace things that need to be replaced and fix it all up for you free of charge.
Though there is one catchā¦
He'll ask you to pay him with a kiss. And maybe more if you're up for it.
Overall Wally is a sweet husband, he's definitely on the funnier end and he's definitely the kind of guy to act like your number one girlfriend with no shame.
JASON TODD
Jason is a quiet kind of lover.
He's the kind of man who loves you and makes it known through his actions, and through little things rather than bold gestures.
Jason will have your coffee order memorized.
Jason orders for you when you don't want to.
He picks off and eats the parts of the meal you're not a huge fan of.
Jason also makes sure you're eating, he checks on you when you go out to eat, makes sure you're enjoying yourself and that the food is going down your stomach rather than just being pushed around your plate.
He comes home with a few new books tucked into his arm every week.
They're usually classics, things he's interested in and wants you to start reading so he can discuss them with you.
He'll read them and then put in sticky notes on passages he likes, tabbing them to remind himself that he wants to discuss this part of the book with you.
Jason is also the kind of guy to remember if you like flowers or not. If you do, great he'll make sure to get you a few when he comes home.
Not into flowers? He'll come back with a packet of snacks or something else that you like.
You never have to ask or remind him. He remembers.
Jason's a big guy. Like he is large.
And he knows this.
So when he's with you and you're cuddling he almost always ends up being the big spoon. Which doesn't bother him too much. He enjoys holding you.
Though there are definitely times where he prefers burying his face into the crook of your neck and feeling small. It doesn't happen very often so when it does, make sure you treat him with a little extra love.
He also comes home to you when he's all battered and bruised.
When you scold him for coming home hurt, he smiles and shrugs, mumbling about how it's not the same if he goes to a hospital.
Who needs a hospital when he can come home to his beautiful partner and be patched up the same?
Jason is the kind of husband who shows he loves you, in his own quiet kind of way.
RICHARD GRAYSON
Dick is the kind of husband who also ends up being your best friend.
And honestly speaking it's not hard to see why that would be the case.
He's such a fun guy it's kind of hard to not love him as your friend.
He's the kind of husband to drop everything when you say you have drama.
And that's how you find yourselves curled up together, hair pushed up, sliced fruit in front of you as you help him put on a face mask while you listen to him share his daily gossip.
The fact he's a police officer along with being a vigilante makes for some insane stories to share with his spouse.
He'll come home from a long night working as either Officer Grayson or as Nightwing and tell you to get comfortable because this new case is going to make you lose your shit.
He's also the best guy to cheer you up when you're upset.
Maybe your body hurts, maybe you've had a bad day, maybe you're just feeling down.
Richard can tell, he can always tell.
And he helps you feel better byā¦ terrorising you?
You'll be laying in bed, aimlessly scrolling through your phone and itās obvious that nothing's helping and itās making you feel upset and even more tired and sluggish than before. And right before youāre about to turn in the towel and maybe take a nap.
Your lovely husband walks into the room.
Or "walks in" is a better term for it. Considering he's walking around on his hands.
The sheer smug look on his face added with the absolute absurdity of this whole situation makes you snort and laugh.
When you do, he smiles softly, flipping back upright and walking over.
He laughs your laugh that's another thing.
He makes it his personal goal to hear you laugh at least once a day.
To him your laughter is like music.
Same with your smile. He loves your smile, seeing your teeth and your gums or your dimples when you grin. It makes his heart warm.
It definitely makes his ego stronger too.
I mean he can make his incredible spouse giggle all on his own?? Score!
He brings to Bruce's galas at times, depending on how comfortable you are with public appearances.
If you enjoy a good party then you'll fit right in.
And if you don't, that's fine too. You'll be in and out as quickly as possible, a few pictures and then you and Dick will sneak off into a different part of the building where it's much more quiet, to spend some quality time together.
Dick is your husband, but he's also your biggest supporter and your best friend.
BRUCE WAYNE
Bruce is the most caring man you've probably ever met in your whole life.
Charming, smart, talented, handsome.
Total husband material.
Well except for one tiny detail, one little snag in the whole thing.
Bruce Wayne - your husband - is Batman.
And you've known for a while, he's told you. It's rare for him to come out and tell somebody but when he knew that he wanted you by his side for the rest of his life, he decided it would be best if you knew.
And once he told you, you've been in full support of him and his work, helping him and his kids.
You were bound to know about their identities too, it was inevitable.
You spend your nights with Barbara, helping her on the computer, trying to get as much information on the criminals that your husband is taking down.
You end up growing close with all of his children and you love all of them.
You watch Dick perform his acrobatics, check in with Jason, look after Tim and care for Damian.
The children adore you, and it's hard for them not to.
You're so caring and sweet and now that you're married to their dad, it's like the love they held for you has grown.
Now they can't imagine a life without you, and it would seem that the sentiment is shared by everyone else at Wayne Manor.
You're quite popular with the paparazzi too, who wouldn't be interested in seeing who the Bruce Wayne decided to settle down with.
When you first started dating him, the media was buzzing about the whole thing, you couldn't step outside to get some air without the sound of camera flashing or clicking.
Now you're used to it, and so are they.
Once they realised that Bruce had no intention of ever leaving you, they got comfortable. Seeing you at the numerous gala's he threw, sipping on something expensive.

New clothes, new perfumes, new cars, anything you could possibly want he'll buy for you.
If you're not overly materialistic then he'll still spoil you, but in more meaningful ways, little trinkets, letting you help him patch himself up after a particularly nasty fight.
Bruce is a particular kind of lover, but he'll be damned if he doesn't show you just how much he adores you in his life.
ā” Dick Grayson who is freakishly good with kids. Itās as if Dick, at heart, is a twelve year old boy still. Heās practically fluent in crying baby. One time you brought him to a family wedding and lost him for a good thirty minutesānot at any table or talking to your family. No, he was sitting cross crossed in a circle with all of the children playing duck duck goose. Itās a common occurrence, him scurrying away from all adultsāheās had enough of the mingling with adults to satisfy him for the rest of his life.Ā
Dick loves children. Not exactly taking care of them, but their imagination and ideasāthe way that they run around free without having to worry about any expectations or checking over their shoulder at every given moment. He never got the chance to enjoy it when he should have, so why not now?Ā
He actually gets pretty competitive accidentally, do NOT test this man in a game of jenga or uno. The children pretty much accept him as one of them, especially once your nieces and nephews see more and more of him around during the holidays. New Christmas gifts? Dick is one hundred percent sitting on the floor next to the tree playing with barbies while your nieces make him play their only ken doll. Same thing with those cheap makeup sets, they give him the look and he immediately foldsāhe just accepts that heās their test subject.Ā
Ā It gets to a point where heās practically gone through every initiation ritual in your familyā heās expected to show at every family event. If he has patrol? Your family is in uproar over the fact he didnāt come. Thatās all you get all night, questions about Dick Grayson. The same Dick Grayson who once was a scared little boy who didnāt have a family to run toā who now has people expecting him to bring dessert whenever he comes over.Ā
rewatching the under the red hood movie and i gotta say as much as i love jasonās speech to bruce about how mad he is that the jokerās still alive, i still maintain that a severely underrated speech in this movie is from raās when heās talking to bruce and in essence says āyeah so i hired the joker to distract you which was my bad because he totally went overboard and killed your son :/ and i felt so guilty i decided not to try and fight you anymore and then i stole your sonās corpse and tried to revive him via lazarus pit so i could like. make amends. except that was also my bad because we fucked that one up real good and when he came back out BOY was he weird in the head. killed my guys and then fucking jumped out a window and we lost him. my bad. and i thought heād died again but apparently heās in gotham and is like. totally destroying your whole lives which again, my bad. shouldnāt have tried to help. sorry about that. iāll just stay out of your business from now on.ā which is actually the funniest characterisation of raās iāve ever seen

the problem with luke is that he changes, see. in a new hope heās bright eyed and bushy tailed. by return of the jedi the poor dude has seen some stuff. in a new hope though, his giving love language is totally words of affirmation. he called leia beautiful, and while itās kind of weird to think about because theyāre, uh, brother and sister, it was still sweet. another love language for luke--in both a new hope and return of the jedi--is definitely acts of service. in episodes four and five, itād be in a naive, following you around like a lost puppy kind of way. heād jump at the opportunity to do anything for you, youāre literally his goddess, say the word āwaterā and heāll be sprinting to get a glass of it for you. in return of the jedi though, he likes to do things for his partner in a more mature, protective way. heād place more importance on making sure youāre safe, and he deems himself your protector until his dying breath. a runner up for return of the jedi luke would be quality time. he and his friends have been through war, and he knows how dangerous jedi life is. so he treasures every quiet moment he can have with his loved ones.

LOOK HOW FLUSTERED MY BOY WAS WHEN LEIA KISSED HIM (never mind that it was mildly concerning given theyāre siblings!). luke absolutely melts for physical touch, moreso in episodes four and five but in six as well. his face will get bright red, heāll start stuttering, my man does not hide it well. his friends, especially han, will tease the f-- out of him. heāll deny it vehemently, but heād get on his knees for you if you so much as touch his shoulder. he likes every sort of physical touch, it doesnāt have to be kisses. heāll be bursting with joy even when youāre just linking pinkies during meetings; heāll be constantly bouncing in his seat and will absolutely not be able to pay attention. also he definitely clings onto you while youāre sleeping like youāre a stuffed animal.
han solo
giving: gift giving
legitimately, I think sometimes when han smuggles physical materials, heāll pick the best thing and steal it from the cargo and just give it to his partner. hanās not rich, but he wants his partner to have the best things in life, especially since he doesnāt think he can offer much else (except for his dashing good looks, of course). does it sometimes get him in trouble when his bosses notice that the biggest diamond is missing from the cargo? yeah. does he care? nope.
receiving: quality time
hanās constantly on the move with his job. he doesnāt have time to relax, since heās often looking over his shoulder for bounty hunters. when he has free time, heād love to play a relaxed game on the falcon with his partner. his favorite is the one with the holograms that c3po and r2d2 play versus chewbacca. he usually doesnāt go all out because heās usually playing against chewbacca, and theyāre good buddies but han doesnāt really want to find out what would happen if he won against the wookiee. but against his partner? oh heās going all out. heās not a gentleman. heāll absolutely obliterate you and laugh about it. itās kind of charming though.
anakin skywalker

okay, mister āare you an angel?ā. mister āyou are so beautifulā. mister āIām haunted by the kiss you never should have given meā, even though that line was kind of awkward coming from nineteen year old anakin. I donāt know how he can be so terribly unarticulate, but at the same time the most romantic smooth talker in the whole star wars universe. I just know heāll be showering his partner with all sorts of lovely, poetic compliments. heās a charmer, heāll swipe you right off your feet with his words.
receiving: physical touch
like father, like son, I guess. without a doubt, anakinās also a physical touch guy (partly because I want him to be, but also because I genuinely think so). the poor dudeās had a rough childhood, so heās starved of love. and most importantly, heās touch starved. show him some love, please. hugs, kisses, cuddles, holding hands, anything of the sort. heāll constantly whine if he canāt be physically affectionate with you, even though you both know itās because youāre trying to keep your relationship a secret. heās also a big cuddler and would 100% be a hidden little spoon, although heāll be kind of embarrassed about it. when you put a hand on his cheek, heāll immediately lean into your touch. also, I just have this thought that heād love it when you ruffle or play with his hair. please do it. heāll even bend down so you can reach his hair if thereās a big height difference between you two. but also, I feel like I canāt gloss over the fact that anakin is in serious need of some words of affirmation. he never gets it, even though heās done so much for the jedi order. please tell him you love him and heās awesome. heāll melt.
obi-wan kenobi

I mean, do I really have to explain? obi-wan would be the perfect boyfriend. heās an absolute gentleman. heād be the best at princess treatment, always making sure you never have to lift a finger. however, some people are not into being babied or taken care of to that extent, and obi-wan knows that. heād completely respect his partnerās independence and competence to do things for themselves, but heād love to just take care of his partner as well. mostly, he wants to make sure his partner is protected and safe at all times, similar to return of the jedi luke.
receiving: quality time
obi-wanās literally dedicated his life to the jedi order. not much is known about his childhood, but itās safe to assume he started training really young (much younger than nine, at least, since anakin was deemed to be too old at that age, which is ridiculous) and for a really long period of time. heās been so busy with training anakin and trying to keep up with him that he doesnāt have a lot of time to rest. so when he does have downtime, heād want to spend it with his partner trying to form a deeper emotional bond. because really, obi-wan would definitely prioritize an emotional connection with his partner, and you canāt really make that happen when youāre fighting for your lives every day. I think heād want to either change the jediās practices or leave the order because heād want to spend time with his partner and be like an actual family (ahem ahem āhad you asked, I would have left the order for youā). although I also think heās touch starved and would get easily flustered by physical touches.
poe dameron
giving: words of affirmation
poeās a charismatic guy, kind of a charmer. heās brash and abrasive when heās mad, but heās generally quite the relaxed (as relaxed as you can be when youāre fighting for your life every day, I guess), cheeky guy. you know he has a few good pickup lines in his back pocket. he pulls them out any time he wants to charm someone. half of the time itās because heās doing it as a joke, but other times he genuinely tries to be slick with it (heads up, heās not). something also tells me heād like giving gifts to his partner too, to spoil them rotten (even though I canāt imagine he has that much money, sorry poe).
receiving: physical touch
why was I kind of at a loss for this one? I guess poe is just pretty touch starved too, itās not like he has a partner in the movies and heās under a lot of stress every day with the resistance. I feel like heād lowkey get migraines or muscle pain pretty often, and heād literally melt if you gave him a massage. he just likes being close to his partner, although heād probably let slip a dirty joke every now and then. heāll definitely tease you if you get flustered about it, but a little slap from you and heāll shut up.
din djarin

acts of service is basically the thing that defines dinās life, lol. heās catching bounties for people, heās helping npcs with their side quests (what? who said that?), and just look at how much he cared for grogu and how dedicated he was to the cutie. he literally gave up the dream life with omera for grogu. for his partner, heād go to the ends of the galaxy. he would risk his life. heād sacrifice his life. it takes him a while to warm up to people--heās a slow burn romance trope, donāt even mess with me on that--but once heās found his soulmate, heāll give his heart, mind, body, and soul to you. heās at your service, completely.
receiving: quality time
dinās life is constantly changing. people come and go as he floats through space, taking jobs and completing them. he really appreciates those quiet nights on his ship with his partner. itās just the two of you floating through space, and he can almost forget his busy life and just focus on you. I think he wishes he could have a slower, peaceful life. look how happy he was with omera on that one planet that I forget the name of. he was literally so tempted to stay, and I think he definitely would have if it werenāt for grogu. similar to obi-wan, though, heās touch starved, so heād appreciate a little physical touch every now and then as well. nothing huge, especially in the beginning, but just simple hugs and holding hands in private.
for this post I added in han because I canāt believe I forgot him in my last sw post. this is also unedited because I'm tired and I spent like two hours writing this
