So I reblog from CC creators (or links to their stuff) here. I'd start with @simverses and @flowermilksims and work your way out from there. @littlbowbub and @brazenlotus have neat cooking and farming/homesteading overhauls.
There's also the Royalty Mod (does much more than royalty), though I haven't played with it. The creator is doing their own UDC playthrough at the moment on Youtube.
Mizoreyukii has useful mods like the Arranged Marriage Mod and a broom replacement for the vacuun cleaner. Lumpinou's general suite of mods can help tweak things- I like the RPO mods for example- and there's a religion mod!
We may not be able to convey the truth of the genocide in the days to come.

Okay based on comments about Atreus from God of War, I was expecting the worst child character ever. dude he's just 11 yo boy who lost his mom. He's actually handling her death better than I expected. In fact I think Atreus is a pretty mature and empathetic character. He wanted to help everyone the entire time it's so sweet. Sure he's a bit impatient at times, but so that's normal behaviour for kids. Faye raised him well.
If I have an emotionally constipated dad who didn't even spend that much time with me since I was born and now I'm stuck with him 24/7, I'd be worse ngl. For the first few hours into the gameplay, Atreus didn't even think his dad loves or even wants him. Not shit he kept saying he wanted to talk to his dead mom.
I was a lot more annoyed at Kratos. We know he loves his son , but Atreus didn't because his dad is a tragic stoic character who doesn't know how to be soft even with how much love he has for his own child.
Personally , I actually think Atreus' comments about his dad were not even that bad. He was actually right. Initially, during the journey he kept telling Atreus to stop talking and only wanted him to speak when he translated all the runes they found. Istg Atreus is really a patient child.
My conclusion is people who think Atreus are annoying are people who hate kids or never spend much time with them. It reflects more on the mentality of GOW players tbh.

like even if you think arms embargo is impossible and a laughable dream, this post is not even about that. it's about THIS behavior: the complete dehumanization and ridicule of palestinian children who have been killed by american bombs and american tax dollars. address what is in front of you. you are willfully covering your eyes and your ears of this evil in your own big tent because it is inconvenient and uncomfortable to you—even if you think to yourself, well i acknowledge the genocide so this isn't about me, you still need to acknowledge the others who are at that convention, who supposedly represent and speak for you.
even if you think biden and harris are unreachable and unmovable, very likely true, look at your fellow democrats with their rainbow accessories and their talk of hope and joy on one hand and their mockery of dead children on the other and think about how much you want to let slide without comment because commenting would be inconvenient, standing up to them would be too dangerous. just because the people in power are untouchable does not mean you too have to just full-throatedly accept their supporters, the people with whom you have thrown your lot, gleefully stripping the victims of a genocide of their basic humanity and dignity.
