free paint lesson!

hello friends! i am going to be livestreaming a free watercolor paint lesson for beginners on my instagram friday 5/1 at 3:30pm est.

supplies you will need: these aren’t the exact products i will be using, but they are the cheapest versions of the same items i will be using. if you would like to know the exact products i will be using just ask :)

if you’re new to watercolor painting and don’t have any supplies i recommend this complete watercolor set

canvas for painting, can either be stretched or a board. i will be a canvas board 11x14in (any size is fine [boards are cheaper and are still a good option])

watercolor paint set (i prefer tubes, but both of these | pans are ok too)

paint brushes (i recommend these ones from michaels instead instead because they are much cheaper & it comes with more brushes)

mixing palette

cup/container that you don’t care about for water

good lighting (i prefer natural sunlight)

something to soak up water (paper towels, napkins, tissues, hand towel/washcloth you don’t care about)

optional supplies:

easel

smock

diffuser

lavender or eucalyptus essential oil

relaxation music

a chair
