Now you can keep all your valuable content backed up, with an offline copy of your bundles inside your Dropbox folder. You just have to add your Dropbox account to Bundlr and that’s it. All your clipped images, articles and more saved automatically to your computer, so you don’t have to worry...
After releasing Bundlr for iPhone on the App Store, we had something new to tackle: archive Bundlr to Dropbox. It took some time, but its finally out. You can try it out here.
If you don't subscribe to our Premium Plan (you should!), we're running a facebook campaign that'll give you access to a trial for this feature.
Announcing: Bundlr is now available on the iPhone (and an update)
Today, we are thrilled to announce our new app for iOS. Making Bundlr available to iOS is a goal Pedro Gaspar and the rest of the team has worked tirelessly and excitedly to accomplish over the past few months. We can’t wait for our users to start using Bundlr on their phones and tablets and this marks the first step towards that goal.
So, 2 months ago the app I (and Filipe) had been working on at Bundlr was finally launched. It was a great accomplishment for me, as it was the first iPhone app I developed, and I'm pretty proud of it :)
Although we released the app after iOS 7 was out, we chose to start with an iOS 6 version. This gave time to make the transition to iOS 7 and would ensure iOS 6 users could still use the app.
Today, I'm releasing an update that brings the iOS 7 design and user experience to the app. We hope you like it!
5 gems I love Some days ago I did a small talk on the first Coimbra.rb meetup about my favorite gems. Lots of people showed up and we all had a great time. Looking forward to the next meetup!
Now you can edit your playlists (and only those). No more cross editing and getting your stuff messed with. For now we'll be storing this information via Cookies, so be careful not to clear them. We're hoping to find a better way to do this without resorting to user accounts. PS: if you can't edit your playlist drop me a line at [email protected]. We'll try to work it out somehow.
Back in January, during the first edition of Improve Coimbra, I (and some friends) started a project aiming to list coffee shops in Coimbra where you can bring your laptop to work. It has been online since and has gathered about 400 likes and lots of suggestions of places to include. It was also released as an open source project on GitHub. Feel free to help, by the way. As of today it has a fresh new look! Actually done by an experienced web-designer! Thanks Henrique Macedo. Make sure to check out his work. There's still a lot to do. One of our goals is to place an iconographic sign on the listed places, so people on the street can easily recognize them. Come help us out on the next Improve! Related: Coffee Shop Etiquette.
Last November, me and Filipe Batista built Tiny Cassette, an app where you can create and listen to playlists of YouTube videos and SoundCloud clips. We had some coverage at the time, and we still have some daily visitors. Although we have virtually no time at the moment to develop some cool features we had in mind, today we are launching something new: favorite playlists. This should help you filter out the noise. PS: if you like Ruby on Rails and want to help, get in touch!
This is so true. I'll be pissed if the next job I get is based on my grades and not on what I've been doing after college.
Seen here.
After years of failed attempts at creating a website to display at pedrogaspar.com I've finally made it!
Today, after finding out about Point (thanks @levifig), and quickly migrating my DNS settings, something clicked in my mind and I remembered something about using Github Pages as personal websites. Damn obvious, I know.
Minutes later I had my markdown-powered Github Page ready to publish. Pick the minimalist theme and done. Configuring the custom domain name was just as easy.
I now have a Github repository with the generated HTML that I can edit as I see fit. And the best part is that I managed to do it all without spending a dime (well, except for the domain, of course).

Dear Internet, please welcome Pedro Gaspar. He has been following Bundlr since the very beginning and we though his code always smelled like strawberries. We made him an offer he could not refuse so he went straight to work, studying hard the inner magic of Ruby on Rails framework. Being a Django Jedi himself, sometimes one would find him nodding his head while saying such things as “Oh Django…”. He will be a RoR Jedi in no time, for sure.
And of course, he loves cheesecake.

Moodle PDF
