OPEN RP part 2
Just about a whole day later, Aprica finally awoke, damp and chilly like a tree that had been gently iced over. She slowly got up to her feet, with much effort, and took some time to familiarise herself with her surroundings and make her way back home. Boy, was she lonely.
As she made her way down the pebble path back to the village, she slowly began to warm up, making it much easier to walk and to think. But she was still soggy; her clothes smelt like she had been buried for a few weeks in the wet and muddy sea sand, similar to when she was first resurrected by Big Face. A shower was in order, that went without saying, but it wouldn’t be wise to go round washing her clothes with no clothes to wear in the mean time.
And so, she found herself at the village bathing room in no time, having remembered about her many shortcuts that she had taken to Necrum many times before. The sky was growing bright and blue, and the light was gentle enough to rouse the village folk out of their slumber and introduce them softly into a new day. Maybe, if she was lucky, someone would be able to help her out with some spare clothes, until she washed hers…
Still retaining much of her bird instincts, Peggy was up at the crack of dawn every day. Taking advantage of this, she chose to take her baths in the morning, that way no one would have to see too much of her. Putting a change of clothes and some towels in her post bag, she basically let herself fall off the tower’s balcony and let herself glide down slowly. She wasn’t exactly too excited to see the door close, but one was still better than the dozens that would be there all day later on... Thinking whoever was inside would have moved along, Peggy basically swung the door open and bumped head-first into the soggy stranger.
