my post-movie sleeping beauty au where maleficent survives phillip's blade (barely) and a decade after a now queen aurora goes hunting for the fairy mentioned in her mother's diary to help her and phillip conceive an heir.

aurora binds mal to her and mal begins to act as her advisor and the tension starts uuuuuupppp (they start sleeping together and being little bitches about it)

its a mix of the 1959 film and the original story, the kingdom is frozen in slumber for 100 years rather than immediately revived and there's a few complications that occurred due to aurora having more magic in her than she should have as a human.

Shang Qinghua should resign and live happily with his king. It's not worth it.

He loved his friend, but if he had to be the mediator between Shen Qingqiu and Cucumber bro's shitty jabs once again, he was going to go cry to his king's tits, even if it meant a beating, which would be totally worth it.

And between juggling keeping the sect intact (along with maybe Yue Qingyuan), keeping his biggest hater alive, keeping an eye on Mobei Jun while he was a double agent, and having to endure watching his little protagonist being turned into a gay puppy, he definitely felt like he was living in a lucid dream more than he cared.

“And Shen Qingqiu keeps popping up everywhere in the sect, I swear to you by Binghe. I can’t be that unlucky.” Shen Yuan rambled nonsensically in front of the frankly distressing tower of unclassified documents. He was gesturing wildly and carelessly around the papers. Shang Qinghua, rather than paying attention, was watching to make sure his arms didn’t ruin his entire week by undoing months of work in one fell swoop. Anyway, nothing he was saying made any sense; that guy was lying to Shang Qinghua as much as he was lying to himself.

“He definitely has something against me. I don’t even remember what I did to him-Airplane, are you even listening to me?" He turned his attention back to his friend because of the sudden change in his voice.

“Dude, please, just agree to go on a date, confess under the moon or something, and tell him you can love each other for the rest of your lives, but for once, keep your mouth shut.” And Shang Qinghua definitely didn’t start crying.
