redesigned my Sanae design! (commentary below the cut)

i like to believe that Sanae is able to channel the gods whose shintai she has on her person, so she gather objects belonging to gods she knows to use as shintai. besides Kanako and Suwako's hair decorations, she has a ribbon from Kagiyama as a hair bow and a magatama from Misumaru as a 'necklace'. her sleeve has a patch cut from Shion's dress (i can even imagine the scene: Sanae rips her sleeve on a tree branch after talking to Shion, who apologises profuselly thinking its the fault of her power, and tries to make up by ripping a piece of her clothing and giving to Sanae, who accepts gladly). Sanae also knows Chimata, but i doubt she would give out something to Sanae. the same goes for Jo'on and Eirin, twho other gods she is probably acquainted with

the shimenawa tied around her neck and waist, besides mimicking Kanako's shimenawa, serve to keep her huge miracle powers under control. i am a sucker for the shounen anime trope of a character who must use restrainers like these so their powers don't cause harm to others or themself, so i included that

finally, she wears a tabard-like thing that is actually based on a Stole, a parament worn by catholic priests during rites. her stole is decorated with designs that also reference many gods and plays with the touhou theme of a blend between east and west
