These Gems are clearly one of THOSE couples.

I figured their first fusion into Lemon Jade would also involve some ridiculousness along with the seriousness of what they are to each other in a society that doesn’t accept it. Their good-natured ribbing and teasing would clearly be an expression of their care, their intimacy, their comfort level with each other.

So I figured one of Lemon Jade’s first acts would be to make fun of herself. :D

I chose Ariel cause when they originally designed her dress, it was a mashup of all three Disney princesses (Snow White, Aurora, and Cinderella) and it reminded me of Pinks outfit as it make her looked “jester” like, almost like a joke of her court and never taken seriously, like how Ariel felt about her fascination about the human world and exploring outside now the sea. Plus they are innocently naive, adorable, and permanently changed for the better. Rapunzel would have been a good candidate, but alas it’s Ariel’s turn to shine. Tell me your thoughts & who you think is next? ;)
