MARY BENNET & TOM HAYWARD ❤️
↳ THE OTHER BENNET SISTER | 1.04 “Chapter 4”
"The eye, it cannot choose but see; We cannot bid the ear be still; Our bodies feel, where'er they be, Against or with our will."
That's... probably enough... graces for today.
every time Tom calls Mary by her name
mary bennet just having the best time.
They see me rollin* They hatin
*across the lake, propelled by wet hotties
What in the Pride and Prejudice (1995) self-insert fanfiction is this
I love that Tom confesses the moment he fell in love with Mary was when he caught her playing graces.
It seems like such a mundane moment when compared to other early interactions between the two, such as when they danced together at the ball, or when Tom witnessed Mary win the riddles night. (Though I know these came after).
Tom witnessing, for the first time, Mary’s unapologetic brand of sincere curiosity, having only seen her be somewhat reserved and unsure of herself prior. There’s an admission of vulnerability to Mary’s actions in this scene; she really did want to be included in the previous game of graces, but truly didn’t know how to be part of it. And this inadvertent admission is what makes Tom realise he’s done for.
I think that’s pretty neat.
Miss Mary Bennet & Mr Tom "Heart eyes" Hayward — The Other Bennet Sister (2026)
I have recently, as of, a few moments ago, finished the BBC series “The other Bennet Sister”.
something I wrote about being autistic and how I related to Mary so much it physically hurt
"Miss Bennet, could you get the other oar and hold onto your end, please?"
The Other Bennet Sister
I’ve watched a new show so I’m back. I LOVE! MARY BENNET!
AND I THINK THEY SHOULDVE THROUPLED OUT
We’re gonna merge our businesses, Cody, yours and mine.
Theodore, thank you for your big wet eyes. Come back to me Cody, I beg of you.
it just hits different... the look in his eyes, the way he’s looking up at her, that little smile right before she puts him in his place,, his little "ow" their dynamic is the best and the subtlety: umatched
my favorite scene in the whole show tbh
On Becoming a God in Central Florida (Season 1 Episode 6), 2019
I will never fully move on from him. There will be other shows and other subs but part of me will always be stuck in 2019 with Cody Bonar. I’m devastated that this show never got it’s second season, not only because it robbed me of more Cody content but because it decreases the chances of there ever being a man this delicious on my tv screen ever again.
Probably the best scene on earth
