Idk y'all I've been listening to both sides of the arguement and both make valid points and I've just been pingponging back and forth

On the one hand those opposed sound like it's a safety concern but on the other it comes off sounding "you must be this⬆oppressed to hang out with us"

Maybe it comes down to the purpose of the space? Like if it's a queer space for people to share their hard experiences and find solidarity, yeah hetaces should take a support role and mainly listen if participate at all. But like generalized spaces just celebrating being queer...? Idk

I've always had half a toe in this sphere and I'm really trying to just listen to everybody, there's enough being said I don't really need to add my opinion to it. I guess I'm just typing this out to make some sense of my thoughts

All I know is I don't quite feel I belong, and I'm not sure if I want to, but I definitely don't feel "basically straight"
